Tis the season for brightly lit Christmas trees! When I was a kid I was always very fascinated with Christmas trees and the pretty baubles that hang on them.

TNB Screwed Up My Day
OK. Maybe it's not entirely their fault. I awoke in the dead of night (more like wee hours of morning) feeling warm and uncomfortable. My air-conditioner had stopped running and my room was dark and deathly quiet.

Crispy and Crunchy Fried Chicken
I was very naughty and I made some buttermilk fried chicken again. Why are you not surprised? And you ask, was the buttermilk fresh or expired?

My Auntie's Beauties
My auntie sent me more photos of her gorgeous roses. Wow. They took my breath away. Roses must be the most beautiful flowers that God created (in my humble opinion).

Critters in My Garden
Sometimes when I am in the garden, I get into National Geographic mode. When I see insects such as this dragonfly, I quickly make a run for my phone to snap a pic.

After our curry mee/wanton mee lunch, before we knew it, it was time for dinner. I thought it would be nice to revisit Simply Ribs. My brother and I enjoyed the food and I reckon my mum and dad would too.

After our lunch at Annie-1, I took my parents for a short walkabout at The Starling. My brother and I had something planned in our heads. There was something we wanted. Something that is very bad for our waistline.

Ladies, Do You Like This Sort of Thing?
There is this shop at The Starling that I have been stalking since day one. Every now and then, I walk in to look-see-look-see and put some of the items on my wishlist in my head. Then I walk over to Daiso (just opposite) to see if I can spot something just as nice for RM5.90.

This is another outing with my parents. Initially we planned to visit 2nd Floor Kitchen & Bar@TTDI because I was so impressed after reading Kris' review. But alas, we could not get parking even after going a few rounds. So we gave up.

I used to love the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. On the show, Raymond lives next door to his parents. To make him visit, his mother would lure him with her cooking, much to his wife Debra's annoyance.

This is what Americans call biscuits. Why do you call this muffin-like thing biscuits? Over here in Malaysia, biscuits refer to crackers, those flat crunchy things.
