When I Am Bored, I Eat

Sometimes in the office, I get that blah feeling. I know I am burnt out and I want to retire. Perhaps some day I will. So what do I do?

I get my ass out of the office and I head over to The Starling. And I almost always land at Go Noodle House. You know what I love there?

The Bursting Meatballs. I order ala carte without noodles and  then I add more meatballs hee..hee..hee.... This one is with additional Fuzhou Fishballs

My drink of choice, the in house Pu Er. I love it cold.

Another time, I had the Fuzhou Fishballs with addition of Tendon Meatballs. Don't think I will have the Tendon Meatballs again as they are hard and chewy.

On yet another visit, I had the Premium Beef Slices with addition of Chinese Spinach. Delicious.

And then one day I made it a big bowl of oink oink belly slices, bursting meatballs and spinach. I was very hungry, you see.

And this happens every time.

  1. I would love to eat all these just like you without the noodles but alas I don't work within walking distance of any nice malls.

  2. I would lick the bowl clean too, just like you and yes, I too would eat when I'm bored. Love these meat and fishballs with or without noodles in the clear refreshing soup. In fact, I too had beef noodles that night - check it out in my blogpost tomorrow.

  4. Wow, you really, really love this place....and I have yet to try. I was just there (the one nearest to me) last weekend and it was packed to the brim (this has happened twice to me already). I didn't want to queue, so I still have no chance to try...argh! >:( I wonder if it's because it's one of the cheapest food you can find in Sunway Velocity that there's always a perpetual queue. No such queues in Starling?

    1. Yes, there are queues at The Starling too especially at lunch/dinner time. You will find the place fully packed with loads of people outside waiting for their turn. So I go either very early or late.

The soup is really good. If you have a chance to get a table, I highly recommend the bursting meatballs and pan mee (soup version). These are my favorites.

  11. Wah, good like this! Whenever you feel bored or burnt out, just head to your favorite restaurant! If only I can head to KLCC whenever I m bored...

The problem is, I always get bored with my work but I can't resign until I can quit membebel at home. Bestnya kalau bosan aje dapat pergi KLCC kan, PH ^_^

I don't really like fishball, meatball etc. sebab susahlah nak wallop sebiji-biji macam tu. Kalau tak wallop sebiji, tak nikmat PH... Hehehe!
