Sometimes in the office, I get that blah feeling. I know I am burnt out and I want to retire. Perhaps some day I will. So what do I do?
I get my ass out of the office and I head over to The Starling. And I almost always land at Go Noodle House. You know what I love there?
The Bursting Meatballs. I order ala carte without noodles and then I add more meatballs hee..hee..hee.... This one is with additional Fuzhou Fishballs.
My drink of choice, the in house Pu Er. I love it cold.
Another time, I had the Fuzhou Fishballs with addition of Tendon Meatballs. Don't think I will have the Tendon Meatballs again as they are hard and chewy.
On yet another visit, I had the Premium Beef Slices with addition of Chinese Spinach. Delicious.
And then one day I made it a big bowl of oink oink belly slices, bursting meatballs and spinach. I was very hungry, you see.

And this happens every time.
I would love to eat all these just like you without the noodles but alas I don't work within walking distance of any nice malls.
ReplyDeleteThe Starling gave me a new lease in working life LOL!
DeleteI would lick the bowl clean too, just like you and yes, I too would eat when I'm bored. Love these meat and fishballs with or without noodles in the clear refreshing soup. In fact, I too had beef noodles that night - check it out in my blogpost tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteIs that the reason why we are the size we are? LOL! I love beef noodles especially with tendon and stuff. Looking forwards to your post!
DeleteHehe sounds like you really like the meatballs there!
ReplyDeleteI love the meatballs!
DeleteWow, you really, really love this place....and I have yet to try. I was just there (the one nearest to me) last weekend and it was packed to the brim (this has happened twice to me already). I didn't want to queue, so I still have no chance to try...argh! >:( I wonder if it's because it's one of the cheapest food you can find in Sunway Velocity that there's always a perpetual queue. No such queues in Starling?
ReplyDeleteYes, there are queues at The Starling too especially at lunch/dinner time. You will find the place fully packed with loads of people outside waiting for their turn. So I go either very early or late.
DeleteThe soup is really good. If you have a chance to get a table, I highly recommend the bursting meatballs and pan mee (soup version). These are my favorites.
I go KL, u bring me there...
ReplyDeleteCan. When you coming? LOL!
DeleteThe bursting meatballs are irresistible. Haha. My hubby would enjoy that beef soup.
ReplyDeleteI almost always go for the bursting meatballs. Can't resist!
DeleteCuz, that trait must be genetic! but you ate liao slim liao liao...we eat liao fei tut tut
ReplyDeleteMemang genetic! No lah, where got slim? Genetically also programmed to be fat >.<
DeleteI love Go Noodles too! Went to City Square, Johor last Friday.. ordered the bursting meat balls too and the crispy fried fuchok!.. My son gave a thumbs up for the meal.. and before he left for the airport, he went to Go Noodles in 1-U... the hot spicy chilli made him sweat like anything! lol...
ReplyDeleteLOL! Yeah, confirmed the food is good. I also love the crispy fried fuchok.
DeleteWe all need comfort food in our lives! Yours are meatballs ... mine is, well, maybe ice cream! ;)
ReplyDeleteI so agree with you. The thing sis, comfort foods are not great for our waistline :(
DeleteSounds like me, I am always hungry and eating, eating and eating
ReplyDeleteIn Chinese, they say it is blissful if you can eat
High 5 Libby! I also like that. My hobby is eating :)
DeleteHihi...agaknya org pompuan mmg camtu, ada sampai satu masa dia akan fed up dgn kerja. So jalan terbaik makanlah apa lagi . Alasan sangatkan haha....
ReplyDeleteI pun suka makan sup sup cenggini LL.... tak de nasi tak pe janji isi banyak dlm sup hihi
Makan tu satu nikmat, betul tak, Hainom. LL ni kalau tak ada apa nak buat, asyik mengunyah aje...
DeleteWah, good like this! Whenever you feel bored or burnt out, just head to your favorite restaurant! If only I can head to KLCC whenever I m bored...
ReplyDeleteThe problem is, I always get bored with my work but I can't resign until I can quit membebel at home. Bestnya kalau bosan aje dapat pergi KLCC kan, PH ^_^
I don't really like fishball, meatball etc. sebab susahlah nak wallop sebiji-biji macam tu. Kalau tak wallop sebiji, tak nikmat PH... Hehehe!
I am so lucky I have The Starling nearby. That's my KLCC LOL! If you quit, nanti boring pulak kat rumah. Then you will membebel even more hah..hah...hah...
DeleteMy wife and I always Go Crazee at Go Noodles. They have so much nice and delicious food inside their menu! We would eat all the fried, bursting and soupy stuffs. All their branch outlets still enjoy full house always.
ReplyDeleteGood, right? That's why there are crazy crowds during peak hours. I wanted to try the one at 1-U but cannot, full house with people outside waiting :(
DeleteYou have inspired me to prepare cold puhr er:)
ReplyDeleteTry it, it's really refreshing!
DeleteSeem like you've tried many varieties! I only will have pork belly slices and bursting balls every time I'm here :P
ReplyDeleteI cannot resist the bursting meatballs. Usually I stick to it hee..hee..
