Restoran Chat Hei Claypot, Damansara Utama

Some months ago, as I was walking along Uptown 7, I spotted a very eye-catching yellow banner.

Hmmm... apa tu?

It was located below one urut-urut place.

There you go. Chat Hei. Sik Faan Jui Gan Yiu Hoi Sam - I know "sik faan" means eat rice. I don't know the rest. Finally, the restaurant opened.

It was their soft opening. So you can expect some dong-dong chiang dragon dance action in the next few days for their official opening (I think so lah).

They have some interesting desserts.

And as their name suggests, they specialize in claypot dishes.

I am sorry the print is not clear in my photos.

Since I can't eat any of these (at the moment) I can only show you the menu. Maybe I could eat a dish or two without rice. We'll see.

  1. Good morning! The Chinese (Cantonese) wordings mean, eat rice most important must be happy, if you directly translate it LOL! This post reminded me that I have not had claypot Chicken rice for a long time.
