This dish is specifically for those days when I am not in the mood to cook. Or don't have the time. Or just plain lazy. Hah! Now you ask me, how do you conjure a chili tuna when you don't want to cook?

Nancy! Nancy! Your Cleome Jadi!!
My blogger friend, Nancy, is so kind. So kind! And so generous too. When I left a comment on her Cleome Spider Flowers post, she offered to send me some seeds. I was delighted!

Broccoli Bagna Cauda
Now who goes WAAAGRGGGGHH!!! at the mention of broccoli? I know. Those people who have been ordered by their doctors to eat steamed broccoli. Or kids who have been forced by their mums to swallow a broccoli floret or two.

Best Butter Cake
I am a very guilty daughter. This is my Pa's favorite cake and yet when he and mum visited last year, I did not bake this cake for him (though I had the intention).

Hands up anyone who goes bonkers at sight of strawberries! I am one of them. Strawberries are so pretty aren't they? But my experience with strawberries have not been pretty until I met Korean strawberries.

Really Big Breakfast. Really?
One day last year, I was very hungry during office hours. So I nipped over to The Red Kettle@The Starling for something to eat.

Solo Lunches@Mr Tuk Tuk
So I went back to Mr Tuk Tuk@The Starling about a week after the feast I had with my brother. Since I was alone, I opted for the set meal.

One Tray Roasted Meat and Vegetables
It looks like the lazy bug is still with me and when I wanted to prep up some weekday food, I remembered my Roasted Pork Loin with Peppers which I cooked back in 2016.

We Overate Again
It was a Saturday and my brother and I had an early movie date. Our show was at 10:25am - Insidious : The Last Key. Yup, a horror movie, best watched in the morning hee..hee...

Banana Zucchini Bread
So what to do with leftover grated zucchini? Surely not fritters again, though in all honesty - I WANT FRITTERS!!! But no, cannot be having fritters two weeks in a row, can we?

Shopping Makes Me Hungry
After walking for miles, hunting for my pants and blouses (not easy to find stuff that fit my auntie taste), I had to eat.

Yes, folks. I am eating carbs more often now that I've somewhat achieved my target weight. The important thing that I must take note is not to overeat.

One Tray Vegetable Bake
OK. No more vegetable fritters but a less oily way to utilize leftover vegetables. I could have cooked a stir fry but that is such a hassle.

My Shopping Spree
So did you go on a holiday before the new year ? Me? I did not go anywhere (as usual) but I had a blast.

Peruvian Roast Chicken
Sounds exotic does it not? I made this chicken before and when I wanted some protein for my weekday salad, I thought it would be good to revisit this recipe.

It was a Friday and my partner was away. When he is not around, I can always rely on my wonderful brother for transport. It was also an opportunity for us to have dinner together never mind that we already have a date the following day for lunch and a movie.

What would you do if you had leftover vegetables sitting in the fridge? What? Roasted vegetables? Nah..... make vegetable fritters. I know it's not the right way to eat vegetables but seriously, roasted vegetables? hee..hee..hee....

I Made It To The 2nd Floor!
Finally! After reading Kris' glowing review about 2nd Floor Kitchen & Bar@TTDI, I was raring to go. My first attempt to visit together with my brother and parents was foiled due to lack of parking space in the vicinity. We did not want to park further away since our parents were with us, thus we had to abandon the idea.

Roasted Potatoes with Garlic and Butter
Which is my favorite carb? Rice or potatoes? It's hard to choose as I love them both. The best is to enjoy them together when I eat rice with chicken curry and potatoes. Bliss, I tell you!

The Party 2017
I bet you people go to parties all the time. Birthday party, Christmas party, New Year Eve party and whatever it is that can be partied. Me? Party is not in my vocabulary. Because I have a strict mother.

New Year Same Old Chicken
Happy New Year everyone! It's great to be back! In 2016, I started the new year with an unappetizing looking chicken and I hope the chicken this year is much better looking.
