Bad Carb Day : Noodles And A Dessert

It was a day when I was wondering what shall I eat?

Then I remembered that I have not visited Rice & Pot Empire for quite some time. So why not?

Without further ado, this is my usual order, the Ultimate Pork Indulgence. Since it was carb day, I added mi xian but requested for only 1/2 portion.

I also added two Shrimp & Pork Dumplings (which are super delicious).

As usual, I removed some of the contents onto a side plate to cool down. I left the sliced pork belly in the broth because they cool down faster and are easier to eat.

This fried pork patty (also very delicious) is part of the Ultimate Pork Indulgence.

The tomato pork bone broth was very very good. Thick and so flavorful - good balance of (slightly) sweet, salty and sour.

I was very pleased. I also enjoyed the dumplings to the max. I used the Grab dine out deals to get a 15% discount. 

I must eat this again!

At The Starling, I was tempted. Or rather, I was curious. Blame that on euphoric recall.

Oh dear ... dear ... hee..hee.. 

The Mini Ice Cream Pancake. I chose Pralines & Cream and Peanut Butter Chocolate. The two scoops of ice cream were so tiny (mini as the name suggests) and I felt like I couldn't taste the ice cream.

Not worth it (RM9.90) because I was indifferent towards the ice cream and fixings. So a done conclusion - I don't enjoy ice cream as much as I used to. No need to eat already.

Ah Boi was playing dead after following me to the front door when I came home.

Then she suddenly sprung up for whatever reason.

She settled down after I chided her for scaring me. LOL!
