Ever since my first visit to Thai Boy Street Food (CLOSED), I returned a few times to try other items on the menu. What I like about this place is that I can eat up to 5 bowls of food hee...hee...

Thailand Food Fair@The Starling
Last week, there was a Thailand Food Fair at The Starling. Since I love Thai food, I went over to kepoh-kepoh over two days, Friday and Saturday. Yup those two days are my happy days.

I have been looking for more lunch box ideas to inspire me to pack my own lunches to office. Honestly, sometimes I am a bit lazy to spend a few hours on Sunday to food prep.

There was a time when I was kale crazy and then I don't know what happened and I did not eat kale after that.

My Bodo Bodo Lunches
For the past two weeks, I brought my own lunch prep to work. Well, not for all 5 days lah. Max I only do for 4 days. It's not planned but depends on how much food I happen to churn out hah...hah...

The first time I saw purple colored rice was on the Nene Chicken menu for Dosirak. I was quite curious why the rice was purple.

Bad Lunch Good Teatime Treat
I was walking around the neighborhood when I realized that Frisson Cafe is no more. Oh dear. But I wasn't really surprised. Or sad.

As I have mentioned in this post, I found a delicious salad which is Taco Salad. I guess it's called a Taco Salad because the ingredients used are what usually goes into a taco.

After trying the souffle pancakes at Hotcake and then reading about Soyffle Pancakes at Soylab, I simply had to give Soylab@Damansara Uptown a go.

Catalina Salad Dressing
You know, I got tired of eating salad. Really. I stopped making and eating salads. It was getting boring with the same old French dressing that I usually use. The vegetables were getting boring too.

Salad Salad Salad
I used to go to Salad Atelier@The Starling quite often and after a while I got tired of salads. I usually don't choose from the menu but I customize my salads from the salad order form. These are from my visits in the past.

Begedil : To Fry or Not To Fry?
Of course begedil (deep fried potato patties) are fried. I was just pondering if I should fry or steam the potatoes before making the begedil? Is there any difference in taste?

A Lacklustre Big Breakfast
I had overnight oats at lunch time (technically my breakfast) and obviously that was not enough to sustain me through the afternoon. So I envisioned a satisfying and robust late lunch but I had no idea where to go or what to eat.

As usual my partner and I went for our grocery run at Aeon. That's our routine. Wake up. Eat breakfast (him, not me). Then it's off to Aeon. After that, lunch.

Are You Korean? So I Made Kimchi
The other day while I was placing my order at Fujisawa@The Starling, the cashier finally plucked up enough courage to ask me "Are you Korean?". I get that a lot.

Nutella Swirl Cheesecake
Just before Chinese New Year, I stocked up on a particular brand of cream cheese that was on special offer. I usually buy Philadelphia Cream Cheese (which has become very, very expensive) and Tatura (the more affordable of the two).

Economy Fried Meehoon
One Sunday, I made economy fried meehoon, also known as meehoon kosong. You guys know what is economy fried meehoon but to the uninitiated, that's meehoon (vermicelli) fried with the barest of ingredients.
