Thailand Food Fair@The Starling

Last week, there was a Thailand Food Fair at The Starling. Since I love Thai food, I went over to kepoh-kepoh over two days, Friday and Saturday. Yup those two days are my happy days.

Usually when there are events organized at the mall, I am not bothered. But not this time. I was very interested heh...heh...

There were quite a number of Thai products on display.

There were also food stalls selling Thai street food.

I was more interested in the food and perhaps some of the products like fish sauce and coconut milk.

There were a lot of snacks too. But I did not buy any.

Instant noodles and my favorite Thai chili sauce.

Tom yum paste.

Even fresh vegetables.

There was even a pool with fake water lilies.

With pretty maidens making Thai mango dessert.

Then I went to get some food coupons.

My first stop was the ice cream stall. Naturally.

I had the Thai coconut ice cream. My favorite ice cream flavor at the moment.

It was served in a coconut shell (which was very cold as it was put in deep freeze) and topped with creamed corn and crushed peanuts. So good! So smooth! So creamy! woohoo!!

I went back for a second round. On the same day, mind you. Tsk!

Again it was so so good! I am addicted.

Then on Saturday, I went for it again. One last time. The lady manning the stall was so pleased with me that she gave me extra scoops. That's what I call customer service heh...heh....

For lunch, I went to tapau these.

The Thai mixed rice which is their version of nasi ulam and spicy squid salad.

From this stall.

It was very nice. It went well with the Thai spicy squid salad.

Which I got from this stall.

I was disappointed because I could not get the signature glazed lamb ribs.

They ran out of stock. I should have bought on Friday when I snapped this photo. That was why I used my last RM10 coupon for the coconut ice cream. Good excuse, right? hee..hee...

  1. I like Thai snacks. I usually buy a lot. Bigger pack and cheaper and so many varieties.

Their coconut dessert is the best too.
