Meat and Microbes At The Restaurant

The evening prior, I had meat and microbes for dinner.


Beef trimmings and kimchi.


Meat.


Microbes - I mixed store bought kimchi and homemade sauerkraut.

I have been having a few tough weeks at the office. So now that the stress has eased out a bit (only to start again) I gave myself a treat.


I went to Hanam BBQ at The Starling. I haven't been for a while. They give you complimentary ice water and that is perfect for me.


I ordered pork belly and skirt meat with request for no veggies and two servings of kimchi.


They provided me with generous servings of kimchi. In fact I thought it was too much (but apparently not).


It was a leisurely lunch, I practically had the whole restaurant to myself which can be awkward with servers standing around with nothing to do hah...hah...

Later after 1.00pm, a couple came in. Usually when I pass by weekdays, there are many diners. Weekends, the place is packed.


The kimchi was delicious.


The tanginess opens up the appetite and I enjoyed the BBQ meat immensely. In fact I could possibly down another portion of meat. 


It was a very good meal and I was very pleased that I ate meat and microbes for lunch LOL!


Mooncake fever has started! At least for three weeks already.


There will be none for me because I don't eat these anymore. They are full of sugar!

  2. Ahhhh, you had Korean food as planned. I hope my plan to eat Korean food for my dinner tomorrow Sunday weekend will be a good one too. No more mooncakes for me anymore also as they are way way way too sweet!
