This is not the (overrated) Tomato Rice which was a craze at one time. This is the real deal, aromatic and truly delicious when paired with any sort of curry.

Kimchi Fried Rice
I had a little bit of the cauliflower kimchi leftover and this kimchi is not meant to be kept for a long time, unlike the regular napa cabbage kimchi.

Ring! Ring! Boh Lang! Boh Lang!
Many years ago, I had a client whose aged mother lived with him. The old lady was often left alone at home when her son and daughter-in-law were at their shop.

Easy Food Prep : My Five Treasure Rice
You know how some Chinese restaurant dishes have very high sounding names like 8 treasure something-something, what-what-what-in superior stock and what not. This is probably due to the direct translation and please excuse me, I cringe at such names.

Lap Cheong Fried Rice
I can't say that I am a fan of lap cheong (Chinese sausages) though I do not mind if they are present in any dish. As far as I remember, my late grandma loved lap cheong (which we call eng chiang) and if I am not wrong, my mum is a fan too.

Pumpkin Rice
I remember cooking this one pot savory rice way back in 2014 after I was discharged from the hospital. It's one of my favorite dishes as it is not only easy to cook but really so delicious it makes for a very satisfying meal.

Nasi Ulam (Aromatic Rice Salad)
This rice salad is something that I wanted to make for a very, very long time. I never got round to it because as with nonya dishes, there is always a long tedious process with the assembling of many components.

Fried Rice with Long Beans
I was craving for some fried rice so I bought a packet of long beans because I love fried rice with long beans. Nope, no cauliflower was harmed in the making of this fried rice. Once in a while I want a full blown fried rice.
