There is a stall (currently) located between Little Tree and Taiwan Braised Pork Rice at A Foodies Nest, The Starling that was vacant for a very looooong time.
It was once (briefly) occupied by KOM's by Kompassion. Yesterday while on my walkabout, I discovered that this little corner is now (coming) alive.
Deli Foodie opening today 26-11-2024. Only the kepoh among us in Damansara Uptown will know this wahahahaha!!
There were many leng luis hovering at that area, eager to see what they were going to serve.
Their Sizzling Specials look very attractive with options of either egg fried rice or spaghetti and sauce options of black pepper, buttermilk, Italian tomato or Nonya curry.
Not only that, the set includes assorted vegetables, butter roasted corn and tangy coleslaw.
For the cheese lovers, there are the Cheese Baked Rice/Spaghetti with the same sauce options and tangy coleslaw.
Among the choices, I would say B1, B2 and B3 are the most interesting to me.
These I believe are jacket potatoes with various types of fillings.
Since I don't eat carbs, I won't be tasting any of these anytime soon. What Deli Foodie is offering is western style meals that would appeal to the younger group of diners.
Something different something new and can I say more exciting than what is currently available at the food court.
