Tis the season for brightly lit Christmas trees! When I was a kid I was always very fascinated with Christmas trees and the pretty baubles that hang on them.
The theme at The Starling seems to be Sesame Street. I remember when my dad was working in Johor Bahru, I used to get a good dose of Sesame Street from the TV station across the causeway. Yeah, we only watched Singapore TV because it was better than our local one. Sorry RTM.
I am always at The Starling (my little escape from the drudgery of office) and I took the time to snap some pics.
I would say that the deco here is passable, no way near the glamorous ones at other malls.
The other day, I saw a Santa Claus and a Santarina but of course it would not be polite to snap their pics. Yup, as a young child I did come across a (skinny) Santa Claus at Cold Storage (or was it The Weld) in KL.
Now, isn't this little girl adorable? She looks so tiny at the foot of Cookie Monster.
Well, tomorrow is Christmas. And next thing you know, Mandarin oranges will be coming out and the mall will be scrambling to do up the Chinese New Year decor. There goes another year.
To all my readers and friends who are celebrating Christmas, let me wish you a very Merry Christmas and to all of you Happy New Year! See you in 2018!
