Dating at Chilis Again


When we don't know where to go, we always end up at Chilis which is not a bad thing at all. True true, the food is not to my lahling's taste but he knows that I love Chilis. Ah, such sacrifice! hee..hee..hee...

Just like before, we forgo the refillable drinks. All that sugar ain't good for us, besides we can only finish one mug each and it's not worth it to pay so much. Not kedekut, OK?


My lahling stuck to salad, the Santa Fe Chicken Salad.


It looked quite bare and the portion was smaller than before.


Because we were very hungry, I ordered the Smoked Chicken Wings. Unfortunately, it was not as good as I had hoped. No smoky flavor.


It was more like it was seasoned with just salt, pepper and perhaps some paprika.


As usual, I am always attracted to the burgers. This one, I can't remember the name. I only remember "pickles" and yes, there were lots of pickles in this one.


The fries had some parmesan cheese sprinkled on it. It was nice, not strong smelling. I wished they had been more generous with the cheese.


Overall, the burger was just alright. Perhaps next time, I should try something else.

    LOL.... usually ordered steak when in Chilli's . Had the burger once. Didnt quite like it

      I can't remember if I have ever ordered the steak. The burger is not that great lah, so I agree with you.

    Haha, the Smoked Chicken Wings didn't deliver on two aspects....the smoky flavour and the wings (coz I only see drummettes)! >_< I thought one should order chillis at Chillis, no? ;) That's the only thing I remember liking at Chillis! ;P

    I always love to dine at Chilli's for real American setting. TGIF is more pricey and the menu is similar. When friends meet up for long chats, this place is good for bottomless drinks and tortilla chips.

    I love Chilli's too one time, in Penang... I remember them for their enormous portions.. but long time I didn't go already.. Ipoh does not even have one...

    I love Chili's, love the Tex-Mex cusine....but it is quite expensive. Didn't manage to drop by the last time I was in KL and staying at Mid Valley. Hopefully, I will get to do that someday soon.

      I love it too and they used to serve huge portions, but not anymore.

    My fondest memories of Chili's is from nearly 20 years back and drinking GIANT Margaritas with girlfriends.

    Hmm. Look like a lot to me. Used to be able to digest all those food (call me greedy) but now age is catching up. No longer could eat that much. I like the chicken wings!

    My hubby like your man, would order and eat the salad. I am ok, can do without it. hehe.

      hee..hee.. The serving sizes used to be very big but they have reduced it over the years. Maybe customers complain cannot finish the food hah..hah..
