My Girls in 2023

Girl came into my life in 2019 while Belle Belle arrived in 2020. Sometimes I still can't believe I allowed two cats into my home.

My living room has gone to hell and it is always in a mess because of these two (ok, sometimes it's me). My two sofas are lined with old towels and old bedsheets. In fact I bought some cheap bedsheets to make the rotation when I do the laundry.

Yesterday Girl started scratching the sofa and sort of glided on the floor as she scratched. I thought it was funny.

My furniture are shredded like this but I have no plans yet to replace the sofas/armchair. Before I buy the replacements, I have to think of strategies to protect the new sofas/armchair.

On new year days my two girls were chilling outside among the slippers.

This is how my sofa looks like.

And usually occupied by you-know-who.

 I can't shoo her away.

Because she gives me this cute look.

Last Sunday I was at Aeon with my lahling and I saw that all the Chinese New Year goodies are all out in full force.

See all the snacky stuff? I am not eating any of those, no more.

I told my partner, please don't buy oranges for me. Also no bak kwa for me either (because it contains sugar).

These are my favorite photos (thus far) of Belle Belle and Girl.

This is Belle Belle knocked out in my office after a visit to the vet.

This red basket has been thrown away because recently Belle Belle vomited into it. Besides, ever since I moved all their things out of the spare bedroom, Belle Belle has ignored the basket.

Now on to Girl.

She looked so sombong (but classy) in this photo.

And this one has to be my all time favorite. I love my two kiddos so much!

    1. What I worry is that if I buy a scratch post and they don't want to use it or when the furniture comes in, they will switch to scratching the furniture. They are unpredictable. When I buy things for them, they tend to ignore it. LOL!

  6. The last photo is my fav too...such a cutie pie! I'm surprised your girls don't scratch your selipar jepun. They tend to and will leave punctured holes all over the slipper. I'm afraid if your girls had not been disciplined (from the beginning) not to scratch your sofa, I think they'll do the same to your new sofa if you ever got one (coz they've already been 'tuned' to do so). P/S: Your partner will be very happy he don't have to buy you anything to eat this CNY...hah..hah. I've just bought my first box of mandarin oranges yesterday...and waiting for someone to gift me a box of my fav bak kwa....wuahahahaha! :D
