30 Day Carnivore Challenge : Day #11

Today is another OMAD. I find that if I ate well the day before, I would not have to eat lunch the day after.

Last evening's dinner was so satiating and satisfying that I was so full until the middle of today.

I know that beef tendon soup will make regular rounds on my dining table.

This evening I had bacon, beef sausages and eggs.

Unfortunately, I did not like the beef sausages. They are spiced sausages but somehow the flavors did not appeal to me.

A few weeks ago, I heared Girl crying outside my room. I usually ignore her because she just wants some attention. Even when I open my door, she does not want to come in.

But this time around, it sounded more serious. So I opened the door and she promptly jumped on the bed.

I was reading a book.

She came and rubbed her face against my book. So I told her to cut it out and not disturb mommy.

So she gave mommy that look. Well, mommy put the book aside and gave her a cuddle.

And we did a wefie. That's when I noticed she had a wound on her front leg.

The wound was dry, so I was not so worried as it was healing. I wonder how she got the wound. Maybe she got into a fight? Like any mommy, it pained me to see her injury. It is all good now though there is a scar. The vet took a look at it yesterday and said that it was fine and ruled out a skin infection.

Anyway, in spite of my dislike of the sausages, I would say that this evenings dinner was pretty good, thanks to the bacon and eggs. I think I shall eat steak tomorrow.

  1. Very nice wefie of Girl and mommy! 👍 Oh Girl, sayang sayang, glad to hear the wound has healed. Please run away and don't fight next time, ok? So heart warming to see you cuddling Girl, she looks so happy in your wefie compared to when she glared at you for asking her to stop. The beef sausage must contain a spice taste that you don't like. You are well on your way to 30 days. Yay!

    1. I am going to reduce frequency of eating processed meats because they are quite salty and may contain hidden carbs.

  4. That tiny wound on Girl is nothing compared to my departed Cookie's (he used to come home with way more serious wounds). Yeah, she got it through an altercation with another cat (not quite like a fight that male cats have to endure). P/S: I think this is the first time you showed us your whole face? You started with smiley faces (or flowers), then your face mask obscuring your face, then hidden behind your cats. Now more daring already to show your entire face...lol. You're as sweet as Ah Girl....and looking more youthful than your age.

    1. She will sometimes scratch the bed frame. Somehow, cats will scratch whatever surface they can get their claws on. LOL!

  8. Although I have showed your face (partly and not very clear) in your previous posts, but honestly I can't really remember your face but now I can tell you that if I bump into you at Starling Mall or Uptown, I'll greet you confidently!
