30 Day Carnivore Challenge : Day #4

Today I am very proud of myself heh..heh.. I skipped lunch because I did not feel hungry. Essentially I am doing one meal a day (OMAD). Just for today lah. Cannot tahan everyday.

Since I did not have lunch, I went out to jalan-jalan and release stress. Yesterday, I went to Mr DIY with my lahling. On our way there something caught my eye.

Wah!

Ramen Hitoyoshi. Coming soon in November. By then, my carnivore challenge would have been over and I can eat ramen. Woohoo!!!

I hope this is good.

Today, I saw the Famous Amos kiosk all quiet and lonely.

Alamak. Don't tell me this one also chap lap.

No lah. Something to do with shipment delay and disruption in cookies supply. So it is a temporary closure. Quite frankly I am not a fan of Famous Amos cookies. They smell nice but don't taste nice (to me). Why? Because they are made with shortening and not butter. No butter, no nice.

Anyway.

At the ground floor bazaar I saw this kiosk selling plants. They have Sunflowers and also yellow Hibiscus. But I did not buy any because if they come home with me, they will die.

So what's for dinner?

I know this does not look particularly appetizing. An all beef combo. Black Angus burger patty, my leftover self made beef patty and a ribeye steak.

All tasted very good and very filling. But I think I am tired of beef. I need to eat something else. Let's see what I come up with tomorrow.

  1. I walked at Starling Mall this evening to buy grocery and planks at Daiso. No luck to bump into this Starling Starlet PH and her famous Pg lahling.
I saw that Japanese restaurant too and my eyes went bigger than Mata Kerbau!
Hey, my friends said my chocolate chip cookies are better than Famous Amos!
I use only the best butter. Wanna try??

  2. My girl loves Famous Amos. I'm ok with it, not cheap...and very sweet. A new Japanee franchise going to open here too - hopefully, it will be better than the existing ones. Will surely go and try.

  4. One meal a day is good. As long as you are not starving, omad is doable. Ok, enough beef for you already. See what you will eat next. Is seafood allowed for your challenge?

    1. Yes, seafood is allowed and would be a nice change.

  5. If I see the plants, I will be tempted but no, no, because there is no more space for additional plants. I need more space for vegetables now. Prices of vegetables gone up, so we are told to plant own vegetables. Lol!

    1. Yes, it is very good that you plant your own veggies. Fresh and organic from garden to kitchen!
