The Kat Family : #6 Trying to Walk
Very soon the little kittens were starting to flex their muscles. They want to walk!
Well, this being day #17 they were more or less walking unsteadily (akin to babies learning to walk) around in the box.
They were keeping mama cat busy as they were feeding frequently as babies do.
Here you can see little Poodie after she was done with enjoying mama's milk.
I was always trying to disturb play with them.
The late TuTu was the cutest of them all.
She was a firm favorite among my readers.
The kitties were curious what is outside the box.
Every now and then, they would go to the edge of the box and try to come out.
On day #19 I tested (the late) TuTu. I took her out of the box but she was unsteady. So it was not time yet.
So I put her back inside where she gave me this nice pose.
Mama cat deserved some attention too.
Still on day #19 where Poodie and (the late) TuTu were about to go oi oi. Cheeky Ah Boi didn't want to sleep.
Eventually they all knocked out looking so sweet.
Her two siblings were still sleepy.
Mama cat can take some time to relax while the little ones are sleeping.
***To be continued***
You are indeed blessed to witness the little babies growing up but you are indeed a very good person because there are just too many people throwing little newborns kittens without their mom to the wet markets or to garbage bins or drown them in rivers upon discovering these babies in their car porch. These people think that the world is just for humans. Sigh! So heartless
ReplyDeleteI admit that it is challenging keeping them but it is rewarding. They make me smile and even laugh sometimes with their antics.
DeleteAiyo. Fully understand why you (and me) love cats and kittens so much. Both cats and dogs I like. There was once I accidentally stepped on an (ugly) bat on the road which might have dropped from the tree. It gave me the goosebumps but there was no one around who could help me. I have phobia of certain animals such as bats and crabs and any insects that crawl or fly. There are also reasons why, no matter how much I love pets, I don't keep them.
ReplyDeleteIt is either I keep them, train them and feed them or either totally don't keep one. It's a responsibility that we must think twice.
You got it right that keeping a pet comes with responsibilities. It can be challenging, the feeding and cleaning up. That's why there are many cases of abandoned pets which is very sad.
DeleteThanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome!
DeleteKitties beginning to walk is very cute....just like babies! They'd be wobbly trying to walk properly. The late Tutu looks so adorable trying to peek out from inside the box.
ReplyDeleteThey can melt your heart and make you fall in love with them. Ah... TuTu my heartbreak...Haiz....
