Post GE 15 Carb Fest #7 : Oh Dear. Three Carbs. Triple Trouble.

After eating carbs, I became hungry very easily. This is what went down. My carbo grand finale. Haiz...

At around 9:00am I was already feeling peckish. I don't usually feel hungry in the morning. By 10:00am I cannot tahan. I have to eat!

I enjoyed my meal. I wonder if I would get hungry again come lunch time.


Right. Carbs don't keep me full. 


So I found myself at Hotpot1 @ The Starling (again) just shy of 2:00pm. Yes, the Sweet and Sour Fish was good.

When I got home, oh...oh..., I had a carb craving. I am going into dangerous territory.


A&W Mozza Burger. Eaten with the bun intact. I ordered two burgers.


Oh ya it was good!


Two burgers demolished. No problem.


I think I over did my carb fest. This is the last one. Thank God.

  1. Ooooo!!!! I want!!! That looks gorgeous...and I have this weakness for noodles. When it's rice, I do not have an appetite but when it's noodles, I can eat a whole lot! Ya...bad for my sugar rush, I know. Anything that is bad is so so good! LOL!!!

    2. hah..hah...me too! I know....the bad stuff always taste so good. But I am finding that meat (it is good!) is just as appealing to me now and given a choice, I go for the meat.

  2. Thankfully it was the last round of carb intake. With all the food and hunger, I think it is best you go back to your protein regime. Haha. I have been cutting on carbs especially rice. Take little for lunch and dinner. Plus with some exercise, I don't feel hungry easily but I still want to stick to 3 meals a day. Just reduce on carbs intake.

    1. It's good to know that you are reducing your carb intake. Carbs are highly addictive for me and it does not make me feel good later.

  3. I still eat carbs but one day, I cannot eat your these 3 carb meals, too much! Eh, you didn't try the berry beef burger but went for your favourite mozza burger. This whole week, you didn't eat char kway teownso means you don't like ckt as much as these Carby meals, right?

    1. No, didn't try the berry beef burger because I wanted the original Mozza that I loved. At my place there is no good char koay teow, so I didn't bother.

  4. I'm the opposite of you, carbs keep me full. If I don't eat carbs I'll get hungry easily. Like you said, you definitely overdid it with two burgers...I can't believe you can down two Mozza burgers in one go. I just had McD's Prosperity Burger yesterday and thought it was too much for me. I felt so full (the set comes with curly fries, the soft drink I passed to my son). I think I better stick to my usual fish burger which is much smaller.

    1. You are just like my partner, must have rice hah...hah... Oh ya, I can down two Mozza Burgers. My mum can eat two Big Macs in one sitting. Oh, Prosperity Burger is back! I can have that without the buns.

  5. Your Wonton Mee portion looked big, was is double noodles? Single portion Wonton Mee is too small for me, I always get 1.5 (if available) or double portion. LOL
