30 Day Carnivore Challenge : Day #25

Today is another OMAD day. Last night's beef tendon soup proved to be very filling. I was stuffed to the brim and therefore was not hungry at all come lunchtime.

Remember I mentioned about ETC vacating its shop space?

In its place now is Home's Harmony.

And no, ETC has not closed down as I initially thought. Instead, it has moved to another shop lot a little further down (still on the same floor).

Ah! And guess what? Today got sales, eh!

Woohoo!

So apa lagi, I stepped inside.

I have a thing lah for all these crockeries and dinnerware and whatever.

Oh I love these Dutch ovens! I already have two collecting dust in my kitchen so I shall not be buying any of these (though the metallic blue - third row from bottom on right hand side looks very pretty kih...kih...kih...).

I never get tired of looking at pots and pans (except dirty ones in the kitchen).

See, macam-macam frying pans.

I love these stainless steel ones too.

Look, all sorts of nice baking pans. I want to start baking again. Dunno if I still remember how to bake wahahahaha!!!

Wah....suddenly feel so motivated to bake. My baking pans at home are also collecting dust.

They also have those glasslock containers but I already have plenty and need not buy anymore.

Oh! Pretty mugs and cups.

These dinnerware are good if you entertain at home frequently.

More pretty plates, cups and bowls.

Nice cutleries and water bottles.

These tableware are gorgeous. For the tai tais and mak datins.

So pretty!

Now these are more my things.

These are Lodge cast ironware. Very good quality and I am eyeing something from here. The helpful shop assistant came over eager to close a sale.

I can't decide yet, so I told her I would have to check with my "husband" first. She nodded in understanding. These husbands ah, tunggu sampai kiamat pun tak dapat heh..heh..heh...

I will be back and I will keep you guessing what I am going to buy.

So now on to my dinner. I was so hungry! I had a steak that was "dry aging" (hah..hah...) in the fridge for two days. When I got home, I threw it in the air fryer and fried some bacon and eggs.

The steak was no where near medium rare but it was pretty good. The edges were crispy and the crispy fats were especially tasty.

I know that is a lot of food on my plate - one piece of steak, four eggs and six slices of bacon. Well, it is my one meal for the day and it was heavenly!

  1. Oh! I also thought ETC had closed down. I love to browse their shelves too as they have very good quality stuffs with nice designs. Need to check out their new outlet.

You are almost near to Day 30 and we will crown you as Miss Carnivore Queen 2022!
You seem to enjoy this diet and happy with your goals. I think you will buy 24 big donuts to eat after your feat. Hooray!!

  2. That is a very hearty plate of protein goodness! I will eat a bit of all 3 types of food items there. Thank you for the colourful photos of those household wares. I like to buy food containers, hehehehe. I think I have too many at home. Need to go out and tapao to use them.

  3. I have a thing for these things too. I especially love dinnerware like plates and bowls....but pots and pans or bakeware...no. If I'm in that shop, I'll be carting away more dinnerware than I need. You really are on a carnivore diet (and bacon seems to be a staple...lol)....I've not seen any seafood! ;)

  7. Beautiful crockery, vry nice to see. I will stay away so that I won't be tempted to buy something which I don't really need.
