I was giving Poodie a snack (leftover beef trimmings) when I heard the sound of a kitten crying. At first I thought it was Poodie making noise but she was busy eating.
I kept searching my garden (excited that there might be a cute tiny kitten) but to no avail. Then I looked up.
The distance between her and the wall was not very big and she should be able to jump and land safely.
Then she walked up the roof to the area below my bedroom window. That was my chance to "rescue" her.
So I went upstairs and opened the window. That was how I hauled Ah Boi inside and carried her downstairs. Haiz! This girl was testing me. I am sure she could come down on her own.
Haiya! I immediately went upstairs and opened the window and called out to her. Ah Boi is very responsive. She will come when you call her name.
Well, I got her down again and so far she hasn't done that again. Maybe she has when I wasn't home and got down by herself.
I guess Ah Boi makes my life interesting >.<
Animals are very intelligent one. So you had a very entertaining Chinese New Year not boring wah.
ReplyDeleteEntertaining and also can get a bit angry because so troublesome. LOL!
DeleteAh, both Ah Boi and Poodie know how to get your attention. They just ๐ mommy very much! ๐ปAh Boi looks so grand, perch high up on the ledge on the roof. Like lion king ๐ฆ ๐
ReplyDeletehah..hah..hah... I felt that she was taunting me. Come grandma! What can you do to save me? LOL!
DeleteHahaha, ya she may be just ejek grandma ๐ป๐ธ๐ผ
DeleteSo cheeky! LOL!
DeleteYes, I've had my fair share of cats going up the roof and (somehow) can't find their way down. They would whine and meow for help. Some would eventually find their way down while some have to be "saved" like my most recent stray. P/S: Just to let you know, guess what, someone has catnapped my most recent stray again...haiz! T_T She disappeared just before CNY and barely 2-3 weeks after she was neutered. I guess I'm living with some heartless neighbours (glad your residents aren't like that as your free-roaming coats are safe) who likes to kidnap well-fed looking/pretty neutered cats. Heartache...I'm done with saving, neutering and spending money on stray cats just for someone else to "enjoy" them. >.<
ReplyDeleteAdoi! I am sorry to hear that. Well, you did not stake a claim on her, hence someone took the opportunity. I do respect your decision for not taking her in as your permanent pet for reasons you explained before. But you should continue to love, though it will in the end bring pain. Life is like that. That's just my thoughts. Do you think it would have made a difference if you had given her a collar? That might indicate that she belongs to someone (though she may be a part timer). I hope another awesome kittie will come your way and steals your heart again hee..hee...
