Such as Chinese New Year snacks, cookies and new restaurants with delicious carbs on the menu. Yup I had some indulgences during the festive season heh..heh... I can't help it!
This Fujisawa Rainbow Yee Sang looked awesome but no, I did not have the opportunity to eat this awesome looking salad.
Before the Chinese New Year, I was resolute that I would stick to my way of eating. Of course, with benefit of hindsight, this was not 100% possible.
This meal was before the festive period. I had just walked back from Damansara Jaya and I was sweating like a pig. I smelt like a pig too. Ughs!
So I had to have my favorite drink. Iced Kopi C kosong. It was very thirst quenching and satisfying.
I was very hungry and again I ate roast duck. Better to stick to the duck as it is the best (or better) thing here. Ordering half is better than portion in the mixed combos because you get a fresher one. This one was good. No complaints.
No sweet sauce, no condiments. So well behaved! The staff brought an extra plate for me which I did not use. I just ate direct from the serving plate (as usual).
This was dinner that evening.
On the first day Chinese New Year I ate oranges. The next morning I woke up with painful finger joints. I suspect it was chemicals (pesticides/preservatives) sprayed on the oranges.
After a couple of days, the pain subsided. Then I decided to test and ate oranges again. The next morning, the pain came back. So. No more oranges!
