Lockdown Day #50 : Flowers are Deeelicious!

This morning I woke up bright and chirpy but my mood was spoiled when I inspected the garden.

What the ?????

This fella was happily munching on my pink Hibiscus!

Siap posing some more! Haiz...

I bet this red Hibiscus was a victim.

Let me show you another variety of Hibiscus in my garden.

It is double petaled.

It has an inner and outer petal.

Now let me show you more pests in my garden.

Can you see it?

Those black spots are caterpillar poop. See the caterpillar?

I spotted so many today!

Now this one is no pest but likes to hangout in the garden.

Belle Belle!

Why you look so moody?

  1. You can try to spray soapy water and vinegar separately onto your plants to shoo most insects away. Someone taught me but I have not tried yet. Then sprinkle salt around the pots and bye bye to snails & slugs. This one I have tried and worked!

    1. I must try that so that my beautiful Spider Flowers can bloom nicely and the grasshopper won't kacau my Hibiscus!

  3. I used to have lots of caterpillars invading my lime tree. I had to search and kill them one by one. Really nuisance.

    1. Ya, and hard to spot them because they are green or know how to hide.

    1. I don't think so. She has a perpetual scowl on her face but sometimes she can look sweet and cute.

  5. The big fat caterpillars are worse than the grasshoppers but I just let them be, God's little creatures, Just let them enjoy my all-you-can-eat buffet in my garden. LOL!!!

By the way, I was watching this show on TV and there was this lady making hibiscus ice cream. It sure looked VERY nice.
