Today I was expecting a client but she was late. So I did not wait for her but had someone else attend to her.
I am a stickler for punctuality. That's what I emphasized to my partner, who is a bit more relaxed when it comes to time. I told him 9:00am means 9:00am. Sharp! Not 9:15am or 9:30am or worse 10:00am.
Some people are very lax when it comes to keeping time. Their 9:00am can sometimes mean 10:00am or later. Times waits for no man and neither does this madam!
So I left to get newspapers and chicken rice for my mum. I did not wait to chit chat with mum because I had to get back to the office to get my work done. On my way back to Damansara Uptown, I decided to settle my lunch.
My first roast duck for 2025.
Juicy and tasty. No complaints. I was very well behaved, no sweet black sauce and no condiments. Just the duck in its natural taste.
All that washed down with an iced Kopi C no sugar. The best in the neighborhood.
This was last night's dinner - pork shoulder steak, two leftover fried eggs, chicken broth and fermented veggies.
This morning I caught Kittie Kat checking out a new macho cat. This is the first time I see him. Fortunately, Kittie Kat is fixed, or else .....
I found this old photo of Belle Belle. I wish she were still around. I do miss the old girl.
My food and beverage intake for today was: Breakfast - fried bee hoon with cabbages and luncheon meat and 2 half boiled eggs (for my protein). The cabbages are warm and very very fresh, I enjoyed my breakfast this morning. Lunch was western food, brown sauce chicken chop with 2 buns and coleslaw. Lunch was satisfying too. Dinner later will have mushrooms pizza with pineapple chunks and one char siew bun. I love the pizza as it is sweet and sour and very hoi wai with the pineapple chunks.

Your breakfast, lunch and dinner all sound very delicious! Somehow pineapple chunks makes food taste better especially sweet & sour pork!

Hugs PH! I understand why you miss your old cats. I miss my old dog too who had gone to heaven even if he was not with me for a long time. Short while also can have strong emotional attachment.

I miss Belle Belle too though I only know her virtually. When I miss Belle Belle I go attend to my tenant and see more of him. ๐ป

DeleteGood morning! Just sharing a thought that comes to my mind. Other than cats and dogs, animals I like are also birds, I like their act of flying in the vast sky which symbolise "freedom" and their chirping which sounds so pleasant, just like music to the ears. One animal I don't like is Porcupine. Hate their spines. Lol! Or maybe they themselves are asking "why are we born like that, we don't like too". Lol!
ReplyDeleteGood evening! My housing area has lots of birds. So every morning (weekends) I can hear the sound of chirping and I sometimes wonder what are they saying? Porcupines? I never thought of them and I cwould be scared to go near them. LOL!

I see the chicken broth on your dinner table...do you eat it in gel form? O_o You used to still see Belle2 in the neighbourhood, now that you don't, something would have happened to her. T_T
ReplyDeleteI have always been like that since young hah..hah.. And I have to put up with a partner who is not so punctual >.< I miss TM .... especially his hilarious comments. Yes, I eat the broth is gel form. It is not that bad after I tried eating it that way. LOL! Yes, I believe Belle Belle has gone forever to cat heaven. Another cat which I called Blue Eyes used to hang around my house has also disappeared. The last time I saw him, he did not look well and his eyes were infected.
DeleteFeel sad for Belle@...this is the first time I've heard of a cat running away from a forever home (just because she couldn't get along with Kittie Kat). She would have been well fed and well looked after.
DeleteI found it strange that Belle was so afraid of Kittie Kat (very fierce towards Belle after she gave birth). Belle Belle can be a very aggressive cat and she somehow could not accept Kittie Kat when Kittie Kat first came to stay. Which was why KK showed extreme aggression towards Belle. I had never seen KK so fierce like that. But no issues with Girl. Haiz! What to do? Belle Belle got a dose of her own medicine >.<
