Covid-19 MCO : Day #55 (Domino's Roast Chicken for Lunch)

Got ah? Domino's got roast chicken, ah? I checked the menu online and the closest thing I could find was Chicken Wings BBQ. Maybe this is the one.

I haven't ordered anything from Domino's for many years now. I used to enjoy their pizzas. Maybe I should order again.

Domino's BBQ Chicken Wings - taken from their website.
As I mentioned yesterday, I roasted two chicken legs ala Domino's and they were part of my weekday food prep. I budgeted 3 servings of food because I expect to work from Monday to Wednesday.

I made some cauliflower rice (with real rice thrown in at ratio of 50:50), roasted broccoli and roasted cauliflower.

I happened to have one piece of tauhu left in the fridge and not wanting to waste, I fried it.

So I have got 3 containers with rice/cauliflower rice, roasted broccoli, roasted cauliflower, roasted chicken and fried tauhu.

Food prepping will be my new normal for now until such time that I can safely eat out again.

Suffice to say, today's lunch was very good. The chicken was nyum! the roasted veggies were nyum! the fried tauhu was nyum! the cauliflower rice was nyum! All nyum nyum nyum! hee..hee..hee...

Last night, I was naughty.

Just in case you think I always sleep on seashells, flowers also got lah.

It was cheat day. Wait lah I will tell you what was my cheat day lunch and dinner.

  2. Today is a public holiday but you went to the office to work? Your food prep is so delicious but the container looks small for you.

  4. Aiyor!!! You eat in bed? The crumbs will drop all over and the ants will come and they may carry you and throw you off the edge of the bed. Wait a minute! That's quite impossible, eh? Not with you...or me! LOL!!!

  5. your food prep results look a lot more tempting than what some restaurants serve, and definitely more tasty than some of my delivery meals in the past two months - having tried domino's drumettes and wings in the past, i'm betting your drumsticks offer more homemade satisfaction! :D

  6. So, it was all nyum, nyum, nyum, nyum (it has to be four nyums to be exact for the chicken, roasted veggie, fried tauhu & cauliflower rice)! :D When you food prep, I see you eat much smaller portions than when you eat out or tapao. By the way, do you reheat your food before eating...either at home or in the office? I can't stomach cold food direct from the fridge. >_<

    1. Oh I missed a nyum! hee..hee..Your observation is correct - my portion sizing when meal prepping is just right, smaller than when I eat out. I don't have reheating facilities in the office, so my food is cool/room temperature by the time I eat which is OK to me.

  7. What a Nyum Nyum day with so many Nyum Nyum meals. I will check out the Domino's ayam as the roasted colour looks good. I never eat steamed chicken skin as they are so geli to me. I had a close friend when young and his neck looked exactly like steamed chicken skin! LOLOL So I must eat roasted or BBQ Ayam with crispy paper skin.

So you also have botanical gardens to sleep on like Adam & Eve in Gardens of Eden! I have to buy bedsheet colours that match with our bazi so that it would help our fate and health wise. If you don't believe, try to sleep on red or black coloured bedsheets!

    1. Oh I see..geli with steamed chicken skin. I have no issues with that, I love steamed chicken and will eat the skin! Interesting about the color of the bedsheet matching a person's bazi. Black definitely I won't choose and red is too "hot"!

  12. It must be at least 20 years since I've had a Dominoes pizza. I think we used to get their garlic bread too for a full carb overload. Monica - The Yum List

I'm bringing my bento to office too, or sometimes bring my mini rice cooker to cook simple lunch in my office, to cut down tapao at outside. But I bring bento all these while, even before MCO.
