Wah...it's day #60 already. So fast, eh? Today I was supposed to eat steamed chicken and vegetables. Slimming food. Boring food. Blearkkssss...
Then my wanton mee craving kicked in (again!). And it's not even cheat day yet. Some more Grabfood got 50% discount on selected restaurants. So how?
heh..heh..heh.... so worth it!
I have ordered this before and I know how good it is. Can't wait to dig in!
This time I was not so greedy. I did not add extra char siew. As it is the regular serving portion is adequate.
The wanton mee I had for lunch. That amount of pickled green chilies not enough, so I took the one from the Hakka Noodle. Then I tambah some more from my stash of pickled green chilies in the fridge. Like that baru syiok.
No need to say already, both noodles were delicious and at RM10.15 for the two meals (after 50% discount) it is wonderful.
This morning I bought 1kg of chicken legs from TTDI market via Grabmart.
It comes nicely packed like this.
My cat came to kepoh-kepoh in the kitchen. She has come to learn that when the Grab guy come, there must be food. heh..heh....clever or what?
Technically yes, there was food, but it was raw hah..hah...
Very fresh chicken legs which I marinated and they will stay in the fridge overnight. I will roast them tomorrow.
I also ordered some veggies. These are for tomorrow's lunch/dinner and food prep for my next week's lunches.
I am trying to convince my cat to vacate the 3-seater sofa and to take up the armchair that I set up for her.
I tried this trick. I laid the blue and beige Daiso towels (which she doesn't like) on the sofa. She jumped on it this morning and quickly jumped back down. Ahah! It worked.
She has not gone near the 2-seater on account of this blue Daiso towel. It's like her kryptonite heh..heh...
So she is back on the armchair (yesterday I sat on it and she joined me).
Good girl. You stay there, ok?
This is another cosy corner for her, on the floor right beside the armchair.
I never imagined that I would be fighting for territory with my cat hah..hah...
I wanna have this again before the 50% promotion is over.
Ma, I also want....
Wah, 50% off is so worth it! Must eat it every day when 50% off is available. So yummy and good value for money!
ReplyDeleteLOL! It would be ideal :)
DeleteThanks for Girl Girl's photos. You managed to take so many expressions of hers, so nice! I like the photo where she is all innocent looking with wide eyes looking at you in the photo captioned "Good girl".
ReplyDeleteShe is quite expressive, can even give me annoyed sour face!
DeleteSo people feed their cats raw food to prevent Chronic Kidney Disease which cats often get when they are older because of a lack of water when they eat kibbles. Online there are many articles about feeding cats a raw diet but since I don't handle raw meat, I don't think I will ever go that route.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I would ever go that route either. So geli.
DeleteI see you've learned from experience and decided to eat the fish flakes from your Hakka noodles first. Were they still crispy when the food arrived?
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't like the Daiso towels because your scent is not on it compared to the older chair cushions. I think she'll sit on the rug irrespective where you put it as it keeps her warm from the coldness of the floor.
Actually I ate the wanton noodles first like before. This time there was not much fish flakes in the Hakka Noodles. So no, I did not get to experience crispy fish flakes :(
DeleteI see! So I shall not sit on those Daiso towels hah..hah..
with a RM12-off promo like this, i'm envious that tnr is not in my delivery zone! :) p.s. read your previous post, and the medium-rare steak does look gorgeous! the next time you order, do continue to use the edkl promo code to enjoy the complimentary salt/patty/etc :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the compliments on the steak! You bet I will remember the EDKL promo code. There will be future orders hee..hee...
DeleteSuch great deal! The noodles are so tempting.
ReplyDeleteVery good deal. Just that I can't eat everyday due to weight issues. LOL!
DeleteOooo...the char siew looks so good. I had my kampua mee fix at a coffee shop yesterday, first time after two months!
ReplyDeleteWow, that must be so nice. I miss eating out!
DeleteHmmmm both the noodles look so delicious. I am thinking of wanton noodles now.
ReplyDeletehee..hee.. I wish I could eat them everyday but I know what will happen. LOL!
DeleteWow the chicken legs look so fat and meaty, looking forward to your delicious roasted chicken legs post.
ReplyDeleteI will post the complete recipe soon :)
DeleteChar Siew noodles VS steamed chicken, the former win hands down!
ReplyDeleteExactly!
