This happened on Day #54 (Sunday) which I have designated as my cheat day. Cheat Day = No fasting, eat whatever I want, eat as much as I want.
I have been craving for wanton mee and since I love the char siew from TNR, that's what I ordered together with Hakka Noodle.
Something weird happened with the Grabfood order.
The rider called me and said that my delivery address is stated as SS2. What? I don't understand because my delivery is to Home and the address is stored in the app. He sounded exasperated at my non-comprehension.
At the time, I had no idea that my address was messed up (stated as the same as the restaurant's!). I swear I did not edit or alter it. So to simplify matters, I just gave him my address over the phone. I wonder what went wrong.
I had to wait quite a bit before the food was delivered.

The Wanton Mee looks dry because I did not toss with the sauce before transferring to this bowl. There was adequate sauce at the bottom of the noodles, don't worry.
This was a very generous portion (looks small in the bowl though). I add on more char siew because TNR's char siew is da bomb! I was given the fatty parts which I loveeee... There were two small wantons which were just ok. This wanton mee is good although I found it on the oily side. Can order again.
The Hakka Noolde I kept for dinner. This one I add on more minced pork.
I must say that it has a lot of flavor (from lard?) and I found it very tasty. There were some dryish brown bits of something that tasted like fish sprinkled on top. I found them a little chewy but nice tasting.
This Hakka Noodle also came in a generous portion so I was stuffed after lunch and again stuffed after dinner (but that did not stop me from bingeing on Oreos. )
So that was my cheat day.
Seeing that my cat has some fans hah..hah.. I took some snapshots of her early this morning.
She was not too happy. Too early I think.
So she hid from me by perching herself on the armrest.
Then she got on the floor and plopped herself down like this. She does this all the time.
She has turned her nose up at her usual Whiskas food. I really don't know why.
So I switched to ProDiet (RM7.90) and she seems to enjoy it. I actually started her on ProDiet when I first adopted her but I got swayed by those Whiskas advertisements.
I hope that she sticks on to this and not get all fussy wussy again.
Girl girl wants you to rub her tummy in the photo where she is sleeping with her belly upwards. So adorable! Please give her a Belly rub for me. Thanks for taking photos of her for her fans though you gotta go to the office today.

DeleteThe something that tasted like fish sprinkled on top are fish flakes and they're supposed to be crispy. Since you left it for dinner, it lost its cripiness and became chewy. You can have a cheat day...but not a rest day (from cooking, I feel for you) as your partner has a rather 'specialised' diet since he doesn't seem to eat most of the stuff you eat (not even wantan mee!). >_<

You started your cat on ProDiet before you switched to Whiskas, so she wants ProDiet (did you change to ProDiet as a 'hint' to your fei mau that she needs to go on a 'diet'? Haha!). Cats generally tend to get used to one type of food and doesn't like change...that's why they can eat the same food for years. But they can turn their nose on the food they use to eat but that's usually after an episode (like a health issue).
Oh I see, no wonder those flakes had a fishy taste. Would be nice had they been crispy. Ah..not to worry, the man is very capable of concocting his own meals wahahaha!!!
DeleteHaiz...she is like my boss hah..hah.. She was OK with Whiskas for a while, though she has her favorites and not so favorite. I noticed she dislikes the one with salmon. Then one day she just refused to eat her Whiskas which made me think hmmm...she is tired of it and perhaps I try back ProDiet. She eats with gusto (which is not a good thing hah..hah..) the last few days.

DeleteI ordered TNR too!!! Miss their Char Siew and Hakka Noodles so badly but I got quite fatty part of Char Siew, a bit disappointed but ok lah, at least and fix the craving :P

DeleteYour girl is really blessed... can change menu every now and then too... my furry member will eat whatever dog biscuits I put for her, take it or leave it.. but she never leave them, always wallop them all whatever brand it is.. hahahaa... This morning I took Hakka noodles too... with 5 types of fishballs..
