Back To Meats And Ferments
Well, after eating carbs for so many days, it was time to recalibrate. This was my home cooked pork belly meal with kimchi and sauerkraut.
This was lunch at Charcoal Grill. I had Classic Marinated Chicken Chop with two servings of grilled vegetables.
Look at the char marks. The chicken chop was smokey and succulent.
I enjoyed the grilled vegetables too.
And of course, coffee is a must!
This was my sad looking home cooked chicken chop. It was cooked in the morning (together with one portion for lunch) and eaten at dinner.
This was a very recent meal. Pork belly and fermented veggies. I like my pork belly fatty!
The charcoal grill chicken chop looked really good. Only one piece instead of 2 pieces? I had kimchi recently too. I had siew mai and char siew bao for breakfast this morning. Will be having mixed economy rice with fish otah, braised egg, veggies and curry gravy for my lunch later. Today is WFH day. As for beverage intake, how can I miss out on my caffeine/coffee hee hee.
ReplyDeleteYes, the chicken chop is one only LOL! Your meals sound good to me :) Yay! We both love coffee!
DeleteAs long as taste is ok then I don't mind how the food looks like.
ReplyDeleteGetting back on track should be a breeze for you. just have cheat days on and off should be Flexible and fun 😁
Just replace the cheat days in the above comment to carb days 😁😀
Deletehah..hah.. yes, carb day instead of cheat day :)
DeleteYesss, nice grill marks on the chicken chop. Is your glass of coffee always served like that?......half full (or should I say, half empty...lol). Your pork belly is not pun fei sau, it's 90% fat! O_o
ReplyDeleteI think the size of the tumbler makes the volume look so little. I love my pork belly very fatty hee..hee...
