Last Sunday I told myself to keep things simple. I mean, yes, my diet is mostly simple and easy these days but sometimes I go a bit overboard and try to add too many items to my plate.
So lunch was a case of bacon, (three) eggs and a couple of sausages.
Then dinner was a (substandard) sirloin steak that had been sitting in the freezer since last year.
I cut it up into small cubes together with some beef fat, seasoned with Seasoned All Season Salt and turmeric powder and air fried the whole lot.
Dumbells for my weight training workout. I am building and maintaining a foundation for my muscular strength and integrity.
We need muscle to support our skeletal system. Exercise is important for overall health and well being. So I say, let's keep it up.
💪💪Good for you! I have two dumb bells too. I can only manage 2 kg each, not as strong as you. Your protein meals look so good! Yummy! 😋😋😋
ReplyDeleteI graduated from 2.5kg to 3.5kg and now 5.0kg dumbells. The 5.0kg ones still feel heavy LOL!!
DeleteToo many items? Where? Hmmm...I miss sausages and bacon, just had luncheon meat that day. Forgive me for I have sinned!
ReplyDeleteToo many items in other meals, not this one. Ah! I had luncheon meat not too long ago.
Deletethose dumbells are too heavy for me, I only manage to workout with 2.5kgs. >_<
ReplyDeleteI see, in time to come you will become stronger and can carry heavier weights.
