Delicious Miso

After I tried the Kimuchi at Fujisawa, I moved on with the Miso. I did not expect anything exciting because I was expecting the whole thing to taste like the miso soup that is served with the bento.

The first one I tried was the Salmon Kama Miso (RM22.90) because I love salmon head.

I know it looks hideous, beady eye, sharp teeth and all. And boy, was I in for a pleasant surprise when I took a sip of the miso soup.

It was an explosion of flavors! I think the fantastic flavors were partly contributed by the fried garlic. It was so so so good!

Then I went back for the Deluxe Seafood Miso (RM27.90).

With prawns, clams and salmon bones in there, the flavors were even more pronounced. Needless to say, I polished the whole bowl clean.

I thought the Kimuchi was fantastic, well, the Miso is even better. Too bad they don't have Miso with chicken because I would really like that.

I would definitely have the Miso again.

  1. Wow! Since you give thumbs up for this, I am really tempted to try this although like you suspect it is too flavourful for me so I will bring people to share with me. I will just eat a bit to enjoy this tasty meal.

  3. For someone who don't usually enjoy seafood, I see you're having a great time with the salmon miso and deluxe seafood miso. ^_~ Is the soup as intense in flavour like those bone broth ramen?

  4. I'll go for the prawns. Never mind what you say, I'd pass when it comes to the fish head. Don't mind it camouflaged in curry gravy or assam sauce though.
