Today when I left my brother's house (after visiting mum) dark heavy clouds were hanging in the sky. Alamak! Going to rain lah!
So I walked very quickly at attack speed and all the while, my head was spinning with the question "What to eat, eh?" wahahahaha!!!
I still have eMadani balance of RM54.50, so what the heck, I went to my happy place. No. Not Red Kettle. That one too expensive. RM54.50 is not enough to cover The Really Big Breakfast and Flat White.
So what better place to go than Donald's. The moment my backside hit the stool, kaboom! (no the stool didn't collapse) it rained.
So I placed my order and no sooner had I hit "confirm" within a split second Donald came with my drink.
Then it was time to pay and go. My eMadani balance is now RM9.00. Not even enough for chap fan.
Then my eyes were naughty. Very naughty. It is 12.12 today and I fell into temptation. I bought something I couldn't afford. After discount and voucher redemption it was still expensive. But. Live and let live. Wait lah I tell you later what I bought.
Yesterday evening I had soup for dinner. I don't usually eat soup in front of the TV (not very practical). But someone once mentioned that she eats soup while watching the telly. Who are you? LOL!
Simple vegetable and minced pork soup with added eggs for extra protein. Oh yes, it was good. But a tad salty.
๐๐๐ You are so hilarious with your Alamak, Wahahaha and Kaboom!! What a happy lady sharing her outing. I have been caught in the rains too with my car. You need to carry the tiniest umbrella in your bag to beat rain and fight robbers.
ReplyDeleteI always love to eat and drink hot beverages in front of the TV. Damn shiok la. How I wish to hire a cook to serve me meals at home.
LOL! I actually have an umbrella that I carry around with me to shield me from the hot sun (and rain). I have now acquired the shiokness of sipping soup in front of the TV hah..hah...
DeleteThree eggs? Or were there more? Gosh! I went and had roast duck too from a local stall here after seeing all your enticing photos. At best, just o.k. a bit tough...but at least, I got to eat!
ReplyDeleteFour eggs LOL! Well, well, good to know you had duck. I wish you could try the one here.
DeleteAre you referring to me? Lol...yes, I eat/drink soup while watching telly. Isn't that the best combo, hot soup (to warm me up) either on a rainy day or with air-cond on in front of the telly watching your favourite shows. Enjoy kaw kaw....bliss, I tell you. I love soups...and learned to add black pepper (into clear soups) from you...lol.
ReplyDeleteAh! That was you! hee..hee... Yes, I sort of remembered you mentioning that but I was not quite sure. Now that I have got the hang of eating soup in front of the TV, I am going to do that more often LOL! Good to know that you now enjoy your clear soups with black pepper :)
DeleteI thought I can see your what you purchased at the end of the post, manau tau..... >_<
ReplyDeleteLOL! Mystery lah!
DeleteWah, thank you for this nice to read post. The roast duck looks so juicy. Your soup looks very tasty. Are those normal sized eggs or small eggs quail eggs?
ReplyDeleteThose are normal eggs. Can only see the yolks because the whites sank to the bottom.
