Pork Hand on A Date Night

Not a very romantic meal is it? hah..hah.. My partner and I had another date night some two weeks ago.

Seeing that he is quite particular about eateries (in terms of service and his reaction to the food), I suggested Sheung Wan Noodle House again since what he had there previously met with his approval.

I thought this time he could try the Hong Kong Style Congee.

But nope. He stuck to the same old thing. LOL!

We shared an iced Yuzu Honey.

This dish is the Spicy Sauce Pork Cartilage which turned out to be soft pork ribs. It was all right. This was my main meal.

Then the resident leng chai asked if we wanted to try the pork hand. Ooohh...

How could I say no?

This was the very thing that I coveted on my first visit.

It did not disappoint. The trotters were braised until soft and falling off the bone. This I shared with my partner who ordered a bowl of rice to go with it. The leng chai told us that this is only available weekends.

We left happy with satisfied tummies.

The following week I went to my duck place. The Kopi C was superb.

And so was the roast duck.

After the meal, as usual, a walk at the mall.

    1. Yes, bring your container :) It is a generous portion and would be good to eat at home with some rice.
