One morning I was greeted by these Adenium flower buds. And then I was greeted with more blooms. This is a good sign, no? Love is in the air! So who did I fall in love with?
But before I get to the subject of my affections, look at these.
For once, Monday is kind of sparkly.
A little later in the day, while running errands, I came across this little thing.
I have a soft spot for puppies and kittens (and babies). Don't we all? I looked at it and my heart filled with love. I wanted to oochii koochii kooo that itsy bitsy kitten. But duty calls. So I went to do what I had to do.
After I was done, I had to see little kitty again.
Look at that. Tiny scruffy little thing. It looked weak. Then I got down and patted it's little head.
Auuuwwww!!!! I love you!!! I want to take you home!!! Little kitty was tired like. Maybe it was ill. I tried to make it look up but it was too weak to even lift its head. I was very tempted to scoop it up and bring it back to office.
But no. I can't do that. I hope someone takes pity on little kitty and give it some food. Sigh.... as I walked away, my heart broke.
Then I went to have lunch.
I thought of buying a little something for kitty but alas there was no fish or anything that I thought suitable for it. When I left the shop, I was tempted to go back and get kitty. But my head ruled me heart.
The next day, it rained heavily. After lunch, I walked past the same spot where I found kitty. But no. Kitty wasn't there anymore. End of love story. Sigh.....
|This grew from a seed.|
Oooo. Hope the little kitty found by good owner. Beautiful adenium flower. I love looking at it too.ReplyDelete
I hope so too. Kesian that little thing :(Delete
Cantik betul warna dia..pink lembut...I felt in love too hahaaReplyDelete
hee..hee... suka tengok bunga :)Delete
Hopefully kitty was rescued by a good Samaritan.ReplyDelete
That adenium flowers were so beautiful. I enjoy looking at them too. Keep growing flowers/plants madam. You have green fingers.
I hope so too. I still think of the poor little kitty.Delete
Sure thing, I am slowly getting rid of the weeds in my garden hee..hee..
My late grandfather used to planted the flowersReplyDelete
They are nice :)Delete
Same here, geram seeing those puppies and kittens, fluffy and so cute!!ReplyDelete
Yes, cannot tahan and feel like wanna take them home!Delete
Mine is blooming beautifully, few leaves - looks like it thrives well in hot, dry weather. I have saved the dried seeds but have not got down to planting them yet.ReplyDelete
That's what I like about Adenium. No need to water so frequently and yet it flowers.Delete
You really have a caring heart.. I am not as "small heart" as you, no oochii koochii-ness but I hope it has been taken care of by someone else..ReplyDelete
I hope so too that someone passing by will curi the kitten and give it a good home.Delete
what a sad love story. my brother just brought a stray kitten home and he is attached to the kitten now. really hope someone takes the kitten home to care for it.ReplyDelete
That's nice to know but that attachment can be a heart breaker when something happens to the beloved pet.Delete
I hope the kitty is all well.ReplyDelete
I also can't adopt any but I try to help feed those I see. Sad. :(
I wished I could have fed it. Sigh...Delete
Oh dear, this little kitty looks all scruffy and unkept. With her hair untidy like that, my only guess was she was separated from her mother as she needs her mother to groom her. She's probably weak and tired from all the crying and call for her mother. Chances of survival for a kitten so young without her mother is practically nil...it's heartbreaking to see. Hopefully her mother came back for her or someone picked her up.ReplyDelete
I think you are right and I also hope that someone rescued kitty. I still think of her...Delete
gosh - there's both happiness and heartache in one post. on the happiness sie, the flowers are beautiful!ReplyDelete
This type of flower is popular for good feng shui beliefs. It brings abundance of happiness in many forms including a kitty for you to adopt. I hope no Myanmar picked the kitty for their cooking pot. WakakakaReplyDelete

Your Adenium are so beautiful and so many blooms! What a morning to be greeted by such beauties! The kitty looks sick or starved, hope it is not abandoned by its mom.ReplyDelete
Thank you! I hope kitty found a home. I still feel for her...Delete
You have a soft heart, PH.ReplyDelete
The flowers are so beautiful and sure cheer one up
Yeah, I am a softie...Delete
My mom plants quite a numbers of Adenium flower too and they all grow and bloom really well too!ReplyDelete
Mine are not so consistent. Sometimes got flowers, sometimes none at all for many months.Delete
So kesian, huhu..ReplyDelete
Ya...I feel bersalah sebab tak dapat tolong anak kucing tu.Delete
Kadang kadangkan, tak sukalah jumpa kitten kat jalan mcm tu, sebab kesian, dahlah i ni bukan jenis yg rajin sangat membela...buat lagi serba salah tau...
LL pun tak dapat bela. Rasa bersalah sebab tak dapat tolong. Patutnya bawa ke pet shop yang bedekatan.Delete
