I was dripping with sweat when I arrived at Ding Xiang Nyuk Noodles, Damansara Utama.
I had just come back from dropping off my mum's lunch. I do wish that the weather is not so incredibly hot.
I made sure to sit at the path of the wall fan. It was cooling having the fan blow on my wet face.
The iced Kopi O (no sugar) was very kaw and wonderful. I had to order a drink because I was so thirsty.
My default order is the Supreme Mixed Pork Soup. I love it because it has meat and organ meats. I made sure to tell the server that I did not want the meat balls.
Do you like organ meats? I enjoy organ meats especially liver.
Blood. Not exactly an organ.
On my walk to the mall, I came upon a new restaurant. Sri Nonya Bistro. Hmmm!
I wonder if they can cater to a single diner as the dishes appear to be for sharing.
I see my favorite kerabu and my partner's favorite Inche Kabin.
I see Beef Rendang and Nasi Ulam. I am very interested.
I shall drop by one day to check them out.
Not many flowers at the "secret garden".
Good morning! It's another day again. Let's seize the day and make it a good one. When I was a kid my mom used to love to cook claypot livers and soy sauce kidneys. So yummy!
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Your mum's dishes sound delicious!
DeleteYou don't like meatballs. As for me, I don't like stomachs hee hee.
ReplyDeleteYa because the commercial meatballs are mostly just flour and seasonings.
DeleteJust sharing an inspiring quote for the day: if I cannot do great things, I can do small things in great ways 😀 💕
ReplyDeleteThat is an excellent quote! Thank you :)
DeleteI visited Ding Xiang Nyuk Noodles recently for the first time, the noodle portion was HUGE! This visit also let me knew that Sam like pork liver (and pork intestine which I discovered later during another dine out) which was very surprised me as I never cook any (because I don't eat) and never saw her ate before! She got herself plain pork liver noodles that day!
ReplyDeleteWell, what a surprise that Sam enjoys liver and intestines! Yes, I note that their portion size is generous when I used to eat noodles last time. Good value for money.
DeleteI like to eat livers, small intestines, stomach but not blood cubes and not kidneys. Ya, weather is very hot so I also order cold drinks because just too thirsty
ReplyDeleteAh, I see! This morning it rained, so at least today might be cooler.
DeleteIt is raining in SG this morning too.
DeleteI also like organ meats, especially (small) intestines & stomach. Liver & blood cubes I can eat too but don't fancy them as much other organ meats. As for kidneys, that I don't eat. I like other organ meats that come with chee chap tong but don't really know what they are. I'm guessing one of them is tongue.
ReplyDeleteI reckon you don't eat kidneys because sometimes when the shop don't clean it properly, it has a urine small which is yucky. I don't think I have eaten tongue before.
DeleteIf what I've eaten is indeed tongue, that's my favourite organ. I'm guessing it's tongue coz I seem to love beef tongue.
DeleteNow I remember, I have had ox tongue before! My grandpa introduced It to me. It came in a can.
