The evening before, my partner and I had another date nite at Red Kettle.
He had the Fish & Chips. He was all quiet while munching his dinner (which usually means he has no complaints).
So I asked him, how is the Fish & Chips? To which he gave me the thumbs up sign. Ah! Positive review (albeit a silent one) hah...hah...
Me? I was low carb with the Grilled Chicken Salad which was very delicious and one of my favorites at Red Kettle.
Due to my light dinner (breakfast was nasi lemak, no lunch), I was hungry the next morning. I had a lunch date with my brother and our mum. But I cannot tahan until lunch.
So I thought I might go to Say Yes Cafe for the soft boiled eggs.
After I filled my tummy I made my way to my brother's house.
Later in the afternoon, when I returned to the office, I needed wanted coffee (in spite of coffee at breakfast and lunch hee..hee..).
You can also buy tempe chips here. I used to love tempe chips (I am sure I still do) but I don't eat snacks anymore (because I have an addiction).
These days I bring my own container when I tapau coffee. This container is stainless steel and is insulated and can keep my iced coffee cold for a long time.
I must also learn from you and bring my own container for coffee ☕😁 good practice to do so 👍😊
ReplyDeleteI have seen some people do that, so I decided that it was a good idea and it was :)
DeleteSo you had 3 caffeines in a day. At times I had 3 times of caffeine in a day when I have strong craving for coffee to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteUsually I would have only one but lately 2 and 3 is usually at weekends when I don't have to sleep early LOL!
DeleteLook who is the one eating chicken salad now...lol! Wow, 2-3 cups a coffee a day...how I envy that...which I used to do previously (max 2 a day lah). T_T Now I consider myself lucky if I have 2 cups a week...haiz. Nowadays I even have half a cup (use half a satchet of those 2-in-1 white coffee) just so that I can stretch out the coffee to increase the frequency of enjoying it. I ration my coffee...lol! :D
ReplyDeleteWahahaha!!! Oh my commiserations to you for the kopi quota! I cannot imagine my life with no coffee or even limited coffee. So one of the things I must be grateful for is the ability to drink coffee.
DeleteI saw Labubu and hopefully that was put in the cafe instead of outdoor, hehe. :P
