I did say that I would visit PIII Eatery one day. And so I did.
This visit was the second time I went upstairs to this cafe. The first time I was there, it was almost 1:30pm and the place was packed. So I left.
Their tissue paper dispenser is nice looking but not practical. Once you pull out one tissue, the next one does not pop up. You have to reach in to pull out the next one.
Anyway.
The coffee is cafe quality in terms of taste and aroma but on the weak side. I guess you'll have to pay for extra shot for fuller bodied coffee.
In the bowl there was rice (a big portion), deep fried soy garlic chicken, cherry tomato, a lettuce leaf and furikake (?) (it was a mix of seaweed and sesame seeds). On top of the rice was an onsen egg.
The chicken was well executed, very crispy and tasty, what you would get from Korean fried chicken places.
The rice portion is very generous. I would say this bowl of food is very filling. I was very pleased with my lunch.
Yes, I will come here again for a future carb fix.
I wished that the weather was not so hot. I was sweating as if I had just stepped out of the shower.
Good morning! Yeah weather is going to turn warmer in the months of April and May. I would love to have that Korean Chicken rice yums!
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Too hot! I want cooler weather LOL!
DeleteAh, I see you're eating rice again in your official carb days twice a week. Perhaps I should follow you and have official bread days twice a week too...lol! As much as I'd love to do that, I know I shouldn't. I did let "loose" with some extra bread (and coffee) in my diet (recently) and my sugar readings were not where I wanted them to be...haiz! :(
ReplyDeleteLOL! I find that although I still enjoy rice, I can't eat as much as I used to because it makes me bloated. Try going for a walk after your bread session and see if that helps to lower the sugar level.
DeleteAh, now you have carb days labeled on your articles for easy reference. 👍 😊
ReplyDeleteThere are really too many eateries serving tasty food in uptown. 😋
The flowers look so bright and pretty 😍
hah..hah.. yes, must keep track. Very true, there are too many eateries in Uptown to keep up LOL!
DeleteGood mornng! Mornings are powerful as they set the tone for the entire day. Start your day with something uplifting: read an inspiring quote, listen to your favorite upbeat song, or simply take a deep breath and smile. A little positivity is the first thing that can make everything else feel more manageable. Just sharing :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Very good suggestions. Starting the day on a positive note will set the tome for the rest of the day. I am trying to so that.
DeleteVery reasonably priced rice bowl, I would say.
ReplyDeleteYes, that is why they are popular.
