My Phad Thai Craving

I love rice and I love noodles. Sometimes I crave for noodles and that particular day I was craving for Phad Thai. This is the Thai version of fried koay teow.

I don't need to tell you where I went for my Phad Thai fix.

I also wanted the Lime Juice and made a request for less sugar. And then I waited eagerly for my fried noodles.

It came covered with an omelette a chive was stuck right through the center.

The unveiling revealed prawns, squids, tofu, beansprouts and noodles. Looks good. Tasted very good.

I love their pickled green chilies and requested for it because it was not on my table.

I was really enjoying my Phad Thai. So satisfied.

I just noticed that the plate is chipped.
I will be back for more. The Phad Thai is definitely better than the one I had here.

  1. Good! Good! I must say this is one of the best phad thai around though the noodles are a bit too springy for my teeth and I have to chew hard on them. No problemo for your strong teeth? I just love the way they covered the noodles with the omelette. Price is very good too, not expensive.

  8. Looks like the Thais like to wrap their food in omelette...remember Pattaya Fried Rice? Kekeke! :D I still prefer our local CKT to phad thai coz sometimes the phad thai noodles are cooked too soft and they tend to clump together. The phad thai here has more ingredients than noodles! O_o

    1. I agree, our local CKT still has an edge. My brother commented that he tried the phad thai once and found it too wet for his liking.

  12. Phad Thai...or Pad Thai! I actually googled it, and its really PAD THAI, which I adore, and have made it with shrimp, chicken, and with Tofu, but not combined together because the most popular in my family is the shrimp version, where I also put squid in it. I love the version you had, Phong Hong, the 'real deal'...real Asian style with the authentic ingredients!

    1. I find that it is spelled differently but means the same thing :) Good for you that you have attempted it and it's about time I did!

    2. You're so right, I did find that some are spelled as PHAD THAI and has the same meaning. I did not just attempt to make it or have it, my daughter and I make it at least once a week...I make it with chicken or shrimp, and she love the tofu which how she makes it. We've been making this for a couple years now!
