Well, it has been 40 days today since restarting the carnivore way of eating. So today, I show you some more of my past eats (April/May/June 2023) where I simply went loco with my carb intake.
The soup consisted of beef slices and beef balls. The meat was dryish and a bit tough. It was gamey too. Ugh! As for the soup, it was mild tasting and nothing to get excited about.
The noodles and minced beef with sauce was just OK. Not something I would want to eat again. Hang on, there was something else.
I found that the flour content was a lot more than meat and it was not as good as before. Cutting cost I guess. tsk!
Another day I went to Two Sons Bistro. Not my favorite place but just to try them out after a long time.
As for the nasi kerabu, it was all right but I did not like the chicken. It was simply fried chicken doused with percik sauce. That's now how ayam percik should be. Other items on the menu were not exciting, so not coming back.
I ate at Pho Vietz a lot. I don't usually order sweet drinks but I made an exception that day. It was a fruit tea and it was rather refreshing.
I was hopelessly addicted to the flat rice rolls. It was really delicious. That's why I kept ordering it.
I also enjoyed the Bahn Mi. The one with lemongrass chicken filling and pickled vegetables was outstanding. I have to admit that I love carbs. I love carbs too much. I am a carb addict wahahaha!!! As of right now, no, I am not having any carb cravings. Touch wood!
haha....i like ur statement 'no longer friends'....me neither. Salad is totally out of my diet range.

DeleteCarb doesn't interested you anymore. Lol. But the Vietnamese beef soup sure doesn't sound good.
ReplyDeleteLong time I didn't have basi kerabu. Now busy with shop, I hardly have time venturing and trying new eateries. Lol
I admit that I still love carbs LOL! But not eating any for now.
DeleteSame thing here! I can't remember where I had ayam percik and it was such a let down - the sauce and everything was so disappointing. Perhaps I tapao-ed it home but I simply can't remember where I got it from. Never again!

DeleteI like the self select salad with no sauce at all at salad atelier but seldom eat them now that I can go eat chapfan.

DeleteI am not into Viet pho, maybe my son ordered this much too often already... but I am into Bahn Mi provided that the bread is still warm and not cold n tough. So far, I am still a carbs fan, still friending with them. hahahaa...

DeleteI am a carb addict.....and still is. They're so irresistibly good to eat + for some reason, my body needs it in every meal, otherwise I go into hunger 'fits'! >.<
ReplyDeleteLOL! That makes 2 of us (and many others)! Somehow I am all right without carbs but not my partner. He will complain left right and centre if he does not get his carbs hah..hah..hah...
