Last Saturday, my partner and I went to The Starling. My lahling wanted to buy mooncakes for family and friends.
We went directly to the Tai Thong kiosk because there was a 50% promotion for OCBC Bank card holders.
Since I was not interested in mooncakes, my eyes strayed elsewhere.
This kiosk, Leaves & Clays, was right opposite the Tai Thong kiosk.
I have a weakness for plants and any greenery.
This majestic bonsai caught my eye. This is some sort of Jasmine I think.
I took a peek at the price tag.
Whoa. RM13,999.00. Cannot. Cannot.
So I deflected my attention to these lovely terrariums.
I don't see any price tag and I did not want to know anyway.
They are gorgeous but I know I won't be able to manage the upkeep of these terrariums.
Before long, my lahling was done with the mooncakes and we left.
On Sunday morning, my two kiddos were outside.
I don't know why they lined up in this formation. The night before, they gwai gwai stayed in for the night.
This is them at their hostel.
Girl was nicely settled in and didn't kick up a fuss.
Belle Belle was at her favorite spot under the chair.
My partner knows I love cats. So these days when he sees a cat, he snaps a photo. This is a mama cat and her kitten under someone's car.
But knowing my partner, his photos are mostly blur.
But this time, he managed pretty good shots. He asked me if I want to take the kitten if he saw it again hah..hah...
No lah.
These two already I kepala pusing. It would be very hard to cope with a kitten.
This was last night's dinner - two beef burger patties topped with cheese, two sausages and a sirloin steak. All cooked in the air fryer.
So cute la your two girls. Lined up so obediently. Is it must lined up before can enter the house? 😊
ReplyDeleteLOL! Like got SOP.
DeleteI hope the kitten has an owner. Hahahaha, I think your partner himself wants to take care of the kitten but he purposely ask you cos is your house.
ReplyDeleteHe knows that I geram for kittens. Can't resist the cuteness.
DeleteYour dinner looks good. Now I also developed a taste for nice beef patties. I think you can do without the sausages if you don't want too much processed food.
ReplyDeleteYes, I must cut down on sausages. They are quite salty.
DeleteDidn't know that bonsai is so expensive. Pengsan. Mooncakes I also didn't buy those branded ones. I just bought non brands mooncakes around MYR 10 to satisfy my sweet tooth.
ReplyDeleteVery wise to get unbranded ones as I think RM20+ for one mooncake is too much. I don't have to spend that sort of money anymore hee..hee..
DeleteI have a friend who will be interested in the terrariums. Your kiddos so cute and disciplined, sitting one behind the other. They know their seniority, Girl senior and Belle junior, right? They are so cute when they are asleep. I would be tempted to kacau them. Haha.
ReplyDeleteLOL! They are most cute when sleeping. Sometimes I will kacau Girl and she will make manja sound.
Deletethe bonsai is super expensive....i will be clueless on where to keep it 'safely'. Definitely not outdoor garden!
ReplyDeleteI won't dare to invest in one because when come to my house the poor bonsai will die!
DeleteThe plants are gorgeous! I love the bonsai!!!
ReplyDeleteMe too! But I won't be able to take good care of them.
DeleteI rather browse on those plants than the mooncakes too.
ReplyDeleteYour dinner.... did u finish it? It seem a lot!
I finished everything on my plate. I can eat! LOL!
DeleteI like looking at terrariums but no, I wouldn't get one myself. My hubby jokingly said that I manage my garden like jungle. Lol. I told him, that is nature. Haha.
ReplyDeleteTrue, 2 cats at home is handful. Can't imagine you add few more into your house.
My garden is also a jungle and very natural. LOL!
DeleteLOL the formation reminds me of school morning assembly!
ReplyDeleteOh ya! hah..hah... I didn't even think of that!
