Lockdown Day #20 : Mee Goreng Pedas Pedas

Today is Sunday and as usual me and my lahling went for our grocery run at Aeon. There did not seem to be many people so the shopping was very pleasant indeed.

My only complaint is that I walked a few rounds at the frozen section but could not find fries! I am sure there must be fries somewhere, perhaps I missed it. Bah! Never mind, I will look again next week. But I did pick up some other frozen products.

Today I also had the good fortune of receiving this ....

Woohoo!!!

Musang King baybeh!

Kautim

I cooked a super pedas mee goreng because I wanted to finish up the sambal that was sitting in the fridge. There was one and a half tubs of it, too much actually for one packet of noodles.

That's a lot, right?

I divided the mee goreng into two portions. One for now and the other for later.

The second portion went into the fridge.

This is Belle Belle looking innocent while mommy was having coffee.

She was terribly naughty.

This morning, as I was coming down the stairs I was confronted with this (very explicit photo ahead, apologies).

I shrieked!

And then this.

I had to clean up before I could have my coffee. I sent the photos to daddy's phone. Daddy laughed. His girl can do no wrong. "Having pets is like that lah" was daddy's response. Yeah, serves me right. Who asked you to bela kucing?

Two of my parquet went missing. This I know is Girl's angkara. She loves to dig the parquet.

One piece dropped inside Belle Belle's cage. The other one is still MIA.

Both of them were super kissy poo today.

Yup, Belle Belle has put on some weight. She feels heavier  now when I carry her.

Ok, I have got to go and eat my mee goreng and I am going to continue a few more episodes of Narcos Mexico. I am enjoying the lockdown a bit too much.

  1. Oooo...the sambal looked gorgeous! Hey! Why the one going into the fridge looked nicer, more ingredients? Eeeeeee...I saw what your babies did and I suddenly lost my appetite. Muahahahahahaha!!!

  2. My instant mee goreng pale in comparison with yours. Your mee goreng looks so sedap, I am hungry again. But is it very spicy? So nice that you received free MSW. I just had red prawn durians not long ago too, very creamy and tasty, but expensive, costs me S$15.00.

  3. Wah. Pedas kaw kaw. Not sure I can tahan the heat.

I bought fries from Aeon not long ago. Finished in less than a week. My kids had sudden craving then. Lol.

Yesterday I went for grocery shopping and bought a pack of frozen fries.

  4. That amount of sambal looks like can cook a whole chicken curry...lol. Your mee goreng sure will be pedas gila and shiok gila! Satu order please, mamak PH.

I really don't understand why Belle2 can't poop properly in his litter box (although some say accidents with litter box is due to a medical condition, stress or change of routine/environment). Cookie has never ever pooped in the house before, he may have accidents while in his cage but that isn't his fault if I didn't put his 'toilet' in. Could she have experienced stress not being in her cage which she's been comfortable with all this time? Hmmmm..... Anyway, next time get Daddy to do the cleaning up since he pandai2 decree that Belle2 be released from her cage....wakakakaka! :D I guess you should be thankful she didn't 'deposit' on one of your floor mats! >_< Ya, Belle2's belly has gone bigger. Maybe you can keep Girl's unfinished food away instead of giving Belle a free reign to eat it all up. I do that with Cookie's food by putting it separately into a small plastic container to be poured out and eaten first at his next meal.

    1. It was super pedas. The mamak PH herself had tears in her eyes. LOL!

Belle Belle is my problem child. She seems to be OK, now she covers her poop but then I will find her leaving it uncovered and then doing it outside the box. Haiz....

  5. Wow! The Mee goreng must be super spicy. I sure cannot tahan. Hahahaha today I bought and ate durian too. Hopefully Belle Belle will do her business properly in her toilet. Maybe she forgot to go to toilet cos too busy playing or doing something else.

  6. I love your super pedas mee goreng but I love the Musang king durian more. It seems the price of durian is going up and up this year. Your mee goreng pedas looks so delicious. I love to eat but my stomach cannot tahan the heat. Oh, Belle wants your special attention by leaving behind her poo poo on the floor. Did she give you the guilty look? Oh dear, very soon all the parquet pieces will become loose with Girl's digging. She very smart, purposely leave 1 piece in Belle's cage to make you think she is the culprit. Lol!

Okay okay, I will dig out my freezer tonight. I think still have 2 boxes of Musang King Durians inside. I hope there is no expiry dates.
