Covid-19 MCO : Day #92 (Curry Mee! Wanton Mee!)

Now that I am confident dining in at restaurants, I am going to satisfy some cravings. Yesss! Annie 1, here I come!

I like the SOP here. Neat and organized. There are two stations - one for takeaway and another for dine in. You scan the Selangkah QR code or write your particulars in the register and wait to be attended.

The staff will come out to take your temperature. Then you will be allowed inside and you may sit at any table available.

Tables are well spaced out and at the time of visit, there were not many dine in customers. As usual, you fill up the order chit but this time you need to go to the cashier and pay first.

The cutleries  are now placed at the location where they put the sauce plates and pickled green chilies. There is also a small crockpot with hot water for you to sterilize your cutleries.

At the entrance you can buy bread, kueh and kaya. I saw a few trays of eggs too.

Ah! I miss my kopi o ais kosong!

And the curry mee!

 Woohoo!!!

nom...nom...nom....

Then I came back today for a late lunch.

Still very nice and peaceful.

Iced Ipoh White Coffee, another thing I miss! So good!

And of course the Wanton Mee

nyum...nyum...nyum...so happy!

Recently I covered my 3-seater sofa with a loud and colorful old bedsheet. I thought the bold colors and design might scare my cat away so that I may reclaim my territory.

Fat hopes! She can even do this for me to see. Like saying - "So what Ma? The sofa is mine. All mine!"

And she snoozes on it just fine.

When you own a cat, every thing in the house they conquer.

Meanwhile outside, me and my potential son-in-law were still in the "getting to know you" mode.

See, cium tangan bakal mak mertua.

He is still very cautious of me.

  1. Both look good. We can't get curry mee here, except maybe at Pappa Rich. Wanton mee is out, it's all about kampua mee here.

  3. Wah, I like the way girl girl sleeps on the sofa in the photo just above the cium hand photo. Sleep like manyak syiok like that. I think the old bedsheet got your smell on it so girl girl likes sleeping on it.

  4. What time did you visit Annie 1 on both days? Look like nobody else is dining in at that time. Good that you satisfied your cravings for curry Mee and wanton Mee.

  5. I remember Annie 1 as one of the most crowded places I've been to...with very little space between the tables previously. Now with SOP in place and fewer tables, there doesn't seem to be many takers for dine-in still (or you went during off peak hours) with many preferring to takeaway.

You should just wave the flag and admit defeat to your cat the conqueror. I've long given up coz my cat conquers my 'space'....he's where I'm at, always beside me..whether I'm sitting on the sofa, at my desk working, eating on the dining table, sitting on the floor or sleeping in my bed (unless I close my room door or put him in his cage at night). Either that or you find something that she doesn't like or is scared of and put that in the space next to you, then she'll let you have your space for a while...heehee! :D
