Covid-19 MCO : Day #77 (Bad Pizza. Worse BBQ Chicken Wings)

I had a craving for pizza. The last time I had this pizza was in Kuala Terengganu when my partner and I drove all the way back to my hometown to pay our last respects to my late grandmother.

The pizza we had then was pretty good. So of course I chose to have it again.

One large pizza and one BBQ chicken wings.

Thin crust. Yes, large.

The crust was not as crunchy as I had expected and the taste of the toppings was below par. Edible but not as good as before.

So I squirted some chili sauce to make it go down easier.

And don't get me started on the chicken wings. The wings were not well roasted/grilled (see how pale they are). And the sauce was terrible. So I cannot call this Domino's Roast Chicken. No way.

After two pieces, I threw the rest away. It was that bad. So I gotta look for another place to meet my pizza needs.

Meanwhile other developments at home. My cat showed it to my face that she has without a doubt taken possession of my sofa. Forever.

No more competition. Mommy 0 : Girl 1,000

That afternoon she decided that the sofa was not good enough for her.

Yes, she wants the bed too.

And she is not shy about it.

How can I chase away that face? Haiz........

  1. Pizza... my latest one was from MichelangelO which was opened back recently, thinly crusted too.. but my nephew preferred Domino's... I think it depends on the outlets, supposed to be the same recipe but somehow, somewhere must have gone wrong...
About your girlie princess, you are really good to her... on the bed? Oh no, this aunty here surely won't allow my bed to be "invaded" by furry family member... LOL...

    1. You are right, quality not the same at all outlets. So dissapointed.

I used to think it is very unhygienic to sleep with pets. Look what my cat did to me. LOL!

  2. Oh dear, what happened? Maybe it's the outlet you ordered from. I don't remember Domino's pizzas and roast chicken looking like that! >_< I won't call that roast chicken coz it looked like cooked, colourless chicken with a squirt of BBQ sauce. The last time I had it (judging from my post in 2016), they tasted ok with some roasted marks on them. I guess that was a long time ago and I can't remember if I had any recently (like in the last 2 years).

Your cat seemed to have chosen the spot with the green towel. Maybe you need to buy more Daiso towels to ensure the whole sofa is covered...hah..hah! :D I see you have no qualms about letting her sleep on your bed since she's outside quite often. I'm a little OCD about that as he can be dusty (lying on the ground) and may even have been in and out of drains (not meant to frighten you but I've seen it before when I follow him out sometimes + he also likes to roll around the porch just outside the gate to mark his scent..a male thing?), so I would cover my bed with a blanket or bedspread and let him sleep on that and not directly on the bedsheet (which I can then remove when I go to bed)...hee..hee! ;)

    1. I must ban that outlet. It is the only one that accepts orders via Grab but delivery is done by themselves. Now I remember I have eaten the BBQ wings before but don't remember anything bad about them.

I am actually OCD too and once had a conversation with my mum (that was before I allowed the cat inside) that having pets in the home is unhygienic and dirty. Look at me now! hah...hah.... I must either buy a cheap bedspread or use an old bed sheet to protect my sofa/bed.

  3. I wouldn't let a cat to sleep on my bed...that's my territory! lolx! I would just close the room door. As for sofa, I would try to 'forcefully' carry it away and place her somewhere else. If done many times, maybe the cat would 'understand' that I have marked my territory? Long time I didn't had dominos pizza. The last time I had was last year.

  5. You didn't give the chicken to girl girl but just bin them? I don't like chicken wings so I seldom buy buffalo wings. I prefer keel.

  6. I see olives on the pizza so did u go for beef pepperoni pizza? Thin crust if soggy won't be nice. That day I ordered mozarella cheese inside the crust which is tasty. I wonder whether you can eat mozarella cheese because it is not those cheesy cheesy cheese like parmesan cheese.

    1. This one is called Extravaganza and yes, it has beef pepperoni. I can eat mozzarella but only on pizzas or baked pasta. If in salad, no. LOL!

  7. Girl girl sleeping so syiok on your sofa. She must feel very safe to sleep on her back with belly up. So sweet of you to let her sleep on your bed.

  8. I have tasted Domino's pizza and chicken wings once from the outlet near our house, but that was a long time ago. Your Girl is widening her territory and now she has conquered your bed too. Now she has left her mark everywhere, she can choose where she wants to sleep.

  9. Quality varies between outlets - that's what I hate about these franchises!
