I know I have gone quite mad and I am addicted to marinated unripe mangoes to the point that I can eat them everyday. This can't be good as I am adding sugar and salt to these fruits.
These mango wedges are sweet and sour and salty and crunchy and with a hit of heat from the dried chilies, gosh, I can't stop eating!
Then I came up with an idea to marinate pineapple with salt and chilies. I did not add any sugar as these pineapple are sweet, too sweet in fact.
I usually eat pineapple sprinkled with salt to neutralize the acid so that I don't end up with a sore tongue. Besides pineapple taste really good with a hint of saltiness.
Mix and match the pineapples and mangoes. This makes for a very nice snack to eat in front of the TV heh...heh..... Besides pssstt.... they are very good to ease constipation wahahahaha!!!
