To The Windmill Again

We came back because I wanted the Mixed Grill. That's lunch before we went up to the medical center to check on dad who was due for his procedure later in the afternoon.

So there. My dream come true.

I deconstructed it to reveal the goods.

The chicken, lamb and beef were well seasoned and grilled to perfection. So tasty and smoky. So satisfying.

I was stuffed!

The beef was a little pinkish in the center. Nice and juicy.

My brother opted for the Grilled Lamb Chop

And then we came back in the evening with mum in tow.

All three of us had the Iced Cappuccino as we anticipated a long night ahead waiting for dad to come out from his procedure.

Mum had the Chicken Maryland

Still full from lunch as our dinner was pretty early, I opted for the Chicken Salad.

Quite a big portion and it looked good.

I appreciated that the chicken cubes were well seasoned and juicy.

My brother was also still full and he chose the Black Pepper Chicken.

By this time, my bro and I have had our fill of Windmill and I would say it was a good experience three times in a row.

  2. I'm sure the restaurant was very happy to see the same customer twice in one day! :P The meats have a nice char on them but the salad is a bit overdressed for my liking.

  5. I would go for the mixed grill but since I seldom venture into Subang, I doubt I will ever get to try it.

  9. I really pray and hope that you won't need to eat there so often partially due to the hospital visits. It still serves as a sad reminder for me to move on.

You guys really enjoyed a good feast with chunks of meat grilled to smokey perfection. I like that chicken salad and made a bookmark to eat this someday. They are so clever to put their own "Windmill Flags" on their dishes as advertisements in case patrons would snap photos for instagram or facebook sharing. You won't need to be reminded that you are eating there hence the mini flags are for mileage and indirect advertising. LOL

    1. I also hope not to eat there again though the food is quite good. Yes, those Windmill flags are good advertising tools.
