Oh No Not Again

I have been inspecting my Hibiscus ever since I caught this guy red handed. Then I spotted another chewed flower bud but the perp was nowhere in sight.

Some days later, I spotted this little guy.

Drat!

It happily posed for me.

Looking at me with its beady eyes. I attempted to catch it but it was too quick for me.

This is not the only pest in my garden. There is another that attacked my lovely spider flower.

Can you see it? The white worm with a black head.

And while weeding, I found another one that loves my Hibiscus.

Can you see it?

You can also see its poop. Ugh! I must find natural ways to protect my flowers as I do not want to use chemicals.

  1. Hi PH lama tak mai ke sini..
Best tengok bila tanaman kita segar bugar...tapi itulah dugaan bila ada seranggan perosak yang berkenan dengan tanaman kita..kena bendung tu kang abes lingkup semua dikerjakannya...Macam pokok kari kari abes kena serangan benda apa ntah warna hitam2 bahagian bawah daun...saya spray dengan minyak msk+1 titik sunlight (sabun basuh pinggan tu)dan isi air penuh2 dalam botol spray...haaa..mati semua sebab sesak napas...sekarang ni masih subur pkk kari saya tu..untuk kes ni xtaulah sesuai ke tak kaedah yang saya guna tu

    1. Hi Lina! OK, nak try petua Lina. Semoga berkesan. Sakit hati bila tengok bunga yang cantik diserang oleh perosak. Ya, PH punya daun kari pun pernah kena benda2 hitam tu.

  10. I have to say that the grasshopper is rather cute! It could be saying "Thank you, for the yummy meals!" Lol! These pests can do much damage to our plants.
