Sunny Day

It was a sunny day when I crossed the road to buy coffee. In fact everyday is a sunny day.

I noted that eat21 is still around. Well, good for them! This kind of staying power is very rare in this area.

For lunch I went to Rice & Pot Empire for the Ultimate Pork Indulgence. This time I chose my favorite tomato bone broth. But the broth was not as thick as before but still enjoyable.

After my meal, I passed by Restoran Bee Fatt 1111 (which is just next door) and saw this apam balik (pancake) stall. This spot used to be occupied by a lady selling fruits and rojak (fruit salad).

But this apam balik is the thin crispy type. I prefer the thick chewy ones.

Right in front of Yin's Sourdough Cafe was this food truck.

Shuang Dessert. See, you can even get desserts from a food truck.

Nearby, there is an auntie selling kueh and karipap.

I bought Nonya kueh and curry puffs from her a few times in the past.

Later I bought a packet of beef trimmings from Jaya Grocer.

So that was dinner.
