I had made a scheduled order for something else from another eatery which appeared to be available on the day of the order (for Sunday delivery).
But on Sunday, I received a phone call from the eatery informing me that the item I wanted was not available weekends. Dang! Why didn't the system say so? So my order was cancelled and I had to order something else.
Which was a blessing in disguise because I enjoyed my meal.
The Teriyaki Chicken Grain Bowl from La Juiceria Superfoods. I added beef slices and tempeh.
When the meal arrived, I added cili padi and garlic (with tamari) and splashed on some chili sauce hee..hee...
It was raining that day which explains why Ah Boi was so kwai kwai staying at home.
My girls already had an early dinner so I could have a nice relaxing evening.
This meal was actually from my archives, probably in March or April 2025. I have new material but not enough time to compose.

ReplyDeleteGood morning my dinner last evening was teriyaki sauce salmon don (with roasted sesame sauce salad of a few black beans, half cut cherry and bits of corn) at my neighborhood Food Centre. The salmon was warm with fried crispy edges. Ya, Japanese (again!) I enjoyed the meal and it sort of helped boost my mood. And the rice was authentic Japanese rice, hong nom nom nom! 😋😋😋 Costs S$7.50 for a bowl. It was carbs with protein/omega 3 in the salmon fish and vitamin C in the veggies.
