Well, today is another skip day. This is the third skip day of the Level 2 program and during my previous two attempts, this is the skip day that I failed.
Consequently I simply gave up. But not this time. On the eat days, I made sure to eat well. Yesterday I had half a roasted duck for lunch.
And for dinner I had an assortment of things to eat. I took my containers out from the fridge and assembled the food items on a baking tray.
Got "pizza", chicken wings, leftover lamb loin and one spicy sausage.
Then I simply reheated the whole lot in my air fryer oven at 160C for 6 minutes.
They came out piping hot and I had them transferred to a plate.
It was very filling. I honestly felt like I couldn't finish the meal but I kept going because I knew it would help me tahan the next day's (today) full day fasting. And it worked.
Lunch time today I went out mall walking. See. I told you. The escalators at The Starling break down very frequently. Is Dato' aware or not?
I have watched too many horrific escalator accidents on social media.
Mitsuyado Seimen is still going strong since opening in 2017. I haven't been for a while and was curious to see any new items that they added to their menu.
Then I made my way downstairs (avoiding the escalator that was being serviced) to Jaya Grocer in search of plain yogurt.
You are being assured that they serve 100% Norwegian salmon.
I didn't check in more details the type of sushi they sell and also the price tag.
Got. But again only the Skinny ones were available. Does that mean that the full fat ones are more laku? I hope so because that would mean people are choosing full fat (the healthier choice) over low fat. Never mind, I will get from Aeon this Sunday.
Aiyor!!! So terrible! Why can't they get a reliable escalator? I saw a lot of videos on "accidents" happening on escalators. So horrifying!!!
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere - don't go for the low fat ones. Fresh milk, for instance. Can't remember the reason but it is not good for you!
DeleteFat is good for you! That's why I dislike all those low fat ones, they don't taste good at all.
DeleteI am sure the bosses are very pantang with the frequent escalator breakdowns. When I used them, I made sure my shoes don't get tangled at the sides until swallow the feet like those accidents. So scary esp the Bangkok airport's mishap.
ReplyDeleteHakata Ramen is most famous in whole Japan and popular with everyone in Hong Kong who loves Japanese Ramen. There's direct CX flights from HKG to Fukuoka where Hakata is the city just for the folks to eat Hakata Ramen. That's how big business it is. I went there and bumped into HKG actor Ekin Cheng eating at the same makeshifts stall by the canal. It was managed by the Yakuza gangsters!! Crazy.
Oh, I learn something from you today/ So this Hakata Ramen is famous. You are so lucky to taste the authentic one. I must go one day but I have already used up my carb quota for the month today.
DeleteHope you get through it tonight....go sleep early. Hehe.
ReplyDeleteI also have phobia of escalator, watched and read too much of the accident. Scary!!
Roasted duck!! I miss that!
Nope, I gave up. LOL! I broke my fats last night and ate dinner.
DeleteI like the colour of your air fryer. If I cook at home, I would buy an air fryer with the colour like that. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteWagashi is pretty confectionery. I think it is the box containing two pretty mooncakes in their poster of the free wagashi.
The color was what first caught my eye. Oh I see - pretty confectionery. I am guessing it must be very sweet.
DeleteI think I can finish that tray of food too, it wasn't too much and no wonder you broke your fast earlier.
ReplyDeletehah..hah..I am sure you can. Yup, not too much, just nice.
