I Am Enjoying Food Delivery Too Much

These days, there is no need to cook. Betul tak? I find myself getting lazier and lazier. The thought of cooking makes me tired. Cooking. So sien, hor?

Back in those days (circa 2012) when I started blogging, we used to have those blog hop events that were so motivating. Each month or week there was a theme and I could either cook or bake up a storm to take part (and feel proud).

The organizers of those events have since stopped blogging. They have migrated to Instagram and what not, leaving me with no incentive to try any new recipes.

All I do is grab my phone and try new restaurants instead hah..hah... But I tend to stick to the ones I love.

Like Hayaki. That day I had the Nasi Ayam Madu. I happen to love their Ayam Madu.

Because I was very hungry, I added a fried fish.

The fish was fried till very crispy, I could eat the bones and the head as well.

What's this?

Peri Peri Chicken Sandwich from The Naked Lunchbox. Loved it!

It came with a refreshing side salad.

This order was for dinner from Yung Kee Beef Noodles via GrabFood (because it was closed on ShopeeFood. Haiz!). I visited this place with my brother back in 2019.

I had the Mix Four Beef Noodles (dry). When writing this post, I revisited my old post and realized that I did not like the sauce for the dry version.

And yup, I should have chosen the soup version. But ok lah, it filled my tummy very nicely though I felt guilty eating all that stodgy hor fun.

I have to admit that I am a little addicted to A&W (no thanks to the RM12.50 off on ShopeeFood between 3-5pm+free delivery). I think they have succeeded in becoming awesome in my books.

My favorite is the Mozza Burger (as I may have mentioned before). I also love the Fish Sandwich.

This time I put in an order for Onion Rings.

Oh! So good, still very crispy and crunchy when they were delivered.

Very soon I will have to lelong my wok on Ebay.

  1. I had a fish like that too today - missus fried two, will eat the other one for dinner. Ayam madu looks good! Yes, blogging was a lot more fun in the good old days with all our blogger-friends. Most have stopped already, so sad.

  2. I agree fully with you about the cooking. The thing I dislike most is all the food is so quickly eaten in at most 15 minutes when the time spent to prepare and cook them is like 1 to 2 hours. Just so not worth the time when can buy it via delivery since I don't want to go out. All your food looks good but I can eat a bit of each and not all of each. Thanks for the info on shopeefood n A&W. Tomorrow I will buy it after 3 pm to get the offer.

  3. You have mentioned about A&W Mozza Burger not less than 3 times in your blog, haha! This shows that you really like it!
I definitely to buy your wok if the price is competitive enough. :P

  4. The ayam madu looks beautiful and delicious. I have not tried beef noodle dry version. I think I better stick to the soup version. Long time haven't eaten AW burgers. I like their onion rings.

    1. The sauce was not to my liking or else I would prefer dry version. Usually when eating wanton mee, I prefer dry rather than soup. I highly recommend the A&W onions rings. So good! Mozza Burger also I recommend you to try. LOL!

  5. I like ikan kembong like that...fried till all crispy & black! :D How much for the add on fish? Ikan kembong used to be known as one of the cheapest fish to eat back in the day but now it's even on par with black pomfret. There's one on ShopeeFood I'm considering...RM16 for ikan kembong or bawal hitam set and wonder which fish is more worth it...lol.

I see you really, really the Mozza burger too. Looking at the cross-section, it does look good and wonder if I should give it a try (minus the mozzarella, of course!) but then my son said why eat a mozza burger when you ask them to hold the mozza...hah..hah (that's true, pointless, isn't it?). You've been eating the mozza burger so many times, when will you give their fried chicken some love? (Or have you tried it already, I can't remember). My spouse loved it so much he ate it a few times in a row after I first got him to try it.

    1. The fish was RM5.50, ikan kembung is no more the poor man's food LOL! Hmm...between ikan kambong and bawal hitam, I prefer the bawal/

I think it should be all right to request to omit the cheese because the Mozza Burger will still taste very good. Oh yes, I have tried A&W's fried chicken but somehow it's not my favorite or else you would see it very often on my blog like the Mozza Burger hahahahaha!!!
