Covid-19 MCO : Day #5 (Pasta Again)

It's day 5 already and still counting. So far I am enjoying the peace and quiet. No grocery shopping today as I have already done that yesterday.

Among the things I bought was a box of button mushrooms. Since I have some leftover bacon from day #3 and loads of pasta in the pantry, I decided to make Spaghetti Aglio Olio.

Today seems like a bit dull with nothing much to tell. But thanks to my cat, I have some stuff to report.

You know I love to wear sarong at home. Mainly because it is cooling and I can adjust the waistband hah..hah... And my cat loves to grab hold of my sarong whenever she can.

Why, she even took a peek at what lies beneath.

And emerged looking puzzled.

And she gave me this look. Scared what?

Next time don't kacau Mommy's sarong.

Oh, something a little exciting did happen as the day progressed.

Cookies! A small batch.

I didn't measure the ingredients, just eye balled the whole lot.

Turned out quite nice.

No, I did not eat all in one sitting. Saved some for tomorrow.

I also had some Korean strawberries. Dinner was leftover soup from before the RMO, which I kept in the freezer.

I know it looks ghastly and blueks but it was very delicious.

I might cook something a little more exciting tomorrow heh..heh...

  2. Do the korean strawberries taste sweet? They look so red! Lucky your cat not a male cat, if not it would be called a maniac to peek into your sarong lolx.

  5. You had so much luxury food today with freshly baked cookies. Can I self collect them?

OMG! Your hamsap cat loves to peek inside sarongs? They are the best pets to accompany us during very old age. I am considering too.

    1. Oh, please do...there are a lot of strays out there that needs our love. Make sure you don't adopt a prince or a princess that needs high maintenance...hahaha! :D Get a 'commoner'....kekeke! ;)

    2. LOLOL. I know what it is like to keep a Persian and Princes from England & Australia which all belonged to my sister.

I should live next door to the animal shelters so that I could feed, bathe and play with them using my walking stick during my twilight years.

    4. Kris : Good advise you gave TM. The commoners like your Cookie and my Girl are a lot easier to maintain.

  6. Your girl is not being hamsap. Cats are fascinated/fixated on legs. They like to sneak attack your legs whenever you walk by and since your legs were covered by your sarong, she 'attacked' your sarong instead. Your small batch cookies is just nice for two. It's only day 5 and I'm tired of cooking...and tired of my own cooking...but have to persevere. :'( I'm also weary of having to go out to restock when my groceries run out in the next two days. >_<

    1. Oh I see! No wonder my girl likes to come for my feet when we go downstairs together. It makes it so hard for me to walk with her attempting to rub her face on my toes! I am beginning to get tired of my own cooking too. Perhaps food delivery could take the monotony off. I do hope that the grocery shopping madness would have eased off by now.

  10. I also eat leftover food, nowadays cannot afford to waste... even carrot, I have to slice half and keep half for tomorrow unlike those normal good old days. I bought two packets of angel hair spaghetti, not sure what to do with them yet... now I see your cookies, I feel like doing some too.. but then no butter... sigh..
