No No No Don't! : Ngaku Chips (Arrowhead Chips)
Every year since my sweaty endeavor back in 2013, I told myself that I won't bother making ngaku chips because ......... it is tedious peeling them, it is even more tedious slicing them (madolin notwithstanding), it is most tedious frying them ............. and this thing goes straight to my waist, hips and thighs.

My First Taste of Wild Boar Curry

Strawberry, Watercress and Siew Yoke Salad
After going crazy over kale, I have now found another new ingredient to grace my salads - watercress. I have read about watercress being used in salsa verde and salads and my immediate thought was the watercress that we use to cook pork rib soup. Alamak how to eat that in a salad?

Dragon Fruit Jelly
Who likes dragon fruit? Quite frankly I am not a fan. Why? Because it doesn't taste like much. It has a peculiar flavor, is barely sweet and the only thing appealing about it is the stunning ruby red color.
