More New Eateries at Damansara Uptown

I wrote a post on new makan places in my area and since then I spotted a few more.

This restaurant is along the same row as Say Yes Cafe. It looks like the signboard isn't up yet.

Nasi lemak! Ah, this one must try lah one day.

Fried rice and noodles. Nice. From this poster, I gather that the name of the cafe is Chattea Kopitiam.

More noodles and sandwiches/big breakfast. They also have Fried Chee Cheong Fun which I gather is probably something like char koay teow. OK, I KIV this.

Oh, nice! Restoran Seoul Classics. I think this was where Mikado used to be (along same row as HSBC bank).

Wah! All my favorites, must come and try one day.

Back at The Starling, there is this Zus Coffee kiosk. These days I bring my own iced coffee to work. Kedekut.

Next to Dim Dou Duck, this Italian Mediterranean restaurant, Seppia & Polpo will be opening.  This cuisine is not my favorite.

Meanwhile at the basement somewhere opposite Ah Cheng Laksa (which is still going strong) is this new place that took over the space vacated by Liang Sandwich Bar.

Mala Jjang Mala Ttang, the name is quite a mouthful. I saw many customers, new places often attract attention.

I went closer to have a look and noted that most of the meat items were processed meats which I am not keen on.

So I don't think I will visit this one.

  3. Nope, don't think I'd want to try that Chinese nasi lemak (unless famous & proven...lol).
Seoul Classic very ngam you....not ngam me other than BBQ.
I think there's a Zus coffee near me too (not raving reviews though). What coffee brand do you drink at home? My usual is out of stock everywhere, even on Shopee. Maybe not available anymore...so much so that I have to look for alternatives (any to suggest?).
Italian also not my favourite...because of the cheese lah...hehe.
And any with the words mala...I run the other way...haha! :D

    1. LOL! I know what you mean, I am not a fan for Chinese style sambal. My favorite coffee brand is Moccona. They have a few variants and I love the Indulgence. I wonder what is your usual brand, until disappeared. LOL!

    2. My usual is Papparich Stevia White Coffee (blogged about it in my "coffee addict" post. Now that you mention Moccona, it sounds familiar and I think you've also mentioned this in one of your previous posts. Sorry, memory not so good already. I believe Moccona is not an instant version coz I'm too lazy to make coffee....kekeke (just open sachet saja lah). If got instant (2 in 1 only), then I'd like to try...lol.

    3. hah..hah... ya, Moccona is instant coffee and comes in a bottle, no sachet. Since I take my coffee black with no sugar or creamer, it is fine for me.

  7. There's a Chattea Kopitiam at Kepong, my friend told me the food was so so, but I personally never tried it lah, hehe :P My hubby also bring his coffee to work, can save money because the beverages price have been increasing tremendously (especially kopitiam).

    1. Since the food is so so according to your friend, then I no need so fast to go and taste. LOL! Ya, one small cup of iced Americano is RM7.00. Better to bring our own.
